My issue arises when I’m on a phone call through CarPlay (wireless) and I increase volume with the steering wheel control. Drops all audio. They can hear me, but I can’t hear them.

Same. This is pretty disappointing, especially at the price that we’ve paid for these vehicles.Still having the no sound issue with phone as well. Still no info from Ford. My dealer doesn't seem to care. Then again I don't blame them. This seems to be a software thing and they have no control over that. It seems like this is not happening to everyone but it is happening to many of us. You would think Ford would have a known issue bulleting or be doing research.
The backup camera glitching has gotten less frequent that is good. The static has gotten less frequent as well.
Right now the biggest problem is the big thing. I too will use sync to make phone calls where they can hear me but I can't hear them. I spend a lot of time in my truck making calls for work. Most my usual contacts know by now that if I call them and I can't hear them that they will call me back. It is just a little embracing.

This!!I’m currently at version 4.2.2.2. I switched from Auto Light/Dark mode to just Dark mode 24/7 and it seems to have corrected the issues (same issues you all are having).
Other than that, I Re-synced CarPlay (removed my phone and addd it back).
Haven't had any issues since. I’ll see how the next week goes.
Could be quietly fixed in one of the updates this year. I doubt they will document it if they fix it. I prefer the "dark" look myself.This!!
I tried it and it worked, haven't had any issues since then. It's so dumb that the bug is with that specific function.... should be an easy fix for them
