Lowered Retractable Boards on Lifted Powerboost

I have a 2025 Powerboost Platinum. Lifted with BDS 4” and Fox 2.5 coil over in front and back. I wanted to have a “step in” experience for my wife to be similar to the stock version.

There are not any options I could find lower than oem retractable boards.

I used a combination of F250 hinges and F150 Boards, and made it work.

it took some ingenuity with the complications of the hybrid battery, but works perfectly.

The PRE LIFT height from ground to the retractable boards was 15”.

The POST lift height from ground to the retractable boards is about 14.5”.

So roughly 1/2” LOWER than when I picked the truck up as stock.

Retracts just like it did before the modification.

I hope this helps anyone wondering if it can be done.

I’m extremely satisfied with it.
