Here is my 25 Lariat 502a in space white.

ihc 3/5 kit with vds bracket.
Maxtrac 0-3” drop strits
26x10 koko kuture kapan wheels +35
295/30R26 tires

initial drop 3” front, 6” rear with factory shackle. Measured against stock truck.
Didn’t love this as rear was lower than the front.

added maxtrac drop struts set at 2” with stock coil. Gained 3” drop. Had to raise strut 0.75” with spacer as front axles did not approve.

Pictures in no particular order, stock, lowered rear, front with drop struts installed, front after raising struts, fit with 26” wheels.

Personally love the look.
For sure not everyone’s style.
I don’t do truck stuff. Have about 2” clearance from rear diff to frame. It occasionally will hit, and it doesn’t bother me one bit. No rubbing on fender liners, no interference issues with fenders or body panels.

Up next is the premium fog light swap, install my ALP sensors front and rear, and maybe do some color matching on the front end.

Looks great but had to cost a ton. Did you do the work yourself or have a shop do it.

Dang, she sits low and looks great! A retractable step and black lugs would be next on my list.

Gorgeous truck!! The color matching will really make it stand out. Cant wait to see what you do next as I have the same color truck. I cant wait to make mine look similar...how is the ride quality? What made you go with IHC? I've heard mixed opinions on them, but I lean towards going with their kit.

I did the work myself.
The wheels I bought new 5 years ago for my lowered navigator at 1300us per wheel. On my second set of tires since, only run these wheels 6 months a year.

Kept the wheels when I got rid of it knowing they were going on this truck

The full kit with struts I’m into for $2700 Canadian.

I went with the ihc ride quality kit with the intention of keeping all factory feel.
Did not get shock extenders, so rear shocks got replaced with maxtrac.
Needed the front lower, so out went factory struts. Coils are a bit more compressed side by side with factory strut.

Overall ride is very close to factory on stock wheels. Rubber band tires don’t absorb much of anything, but it’s something I am very used to.

I went with it first off because it was a cheaper option, primarily because it didn’t have street or adjustable shocks. In my experience with those, usually quite stiff.
Also because they had updated the design, there were some complaints in the past with upper a arms cracking at the ball joint.
Now they are bolt in ball joints, the same style that has been in play since the 90’s.

I’ve been looking for black splined shallow 1” lug nuts on and off for years.
I was thinking of the retractable boards, but am considering a 25 Shelby f150 super snake style ground effects kit.

Innovation is a good thing but as strong advocate of the "Form Follows Function Design Principle" my first question is why do this? About the only clear advantage I can see visually is a reduction in drag. It would be interesting to see the numbers, maybe as much as 4 square feet of flat plate area is being removed from the aerodynamic profile.

If there was a significant reduction in drag, thereby increasing efficiency, it could be a compelling case for a truck only used on paved surfaces. But it will significantly degrade the utility of the truck for typical use cases.

The one and only reason for me, aesthetics. I like lowered vehicles.
Everything I’ve owned has been lowered.
People have different tastes.

where I live, it’s all lifted trucks, monster tires, black clouds of smoke. Not my scene.

I get the utility of having a truck, but that not why I bought it and built it.
I can still use the bed if I have to, but I don’t ever NEED to.
no trailers in my world. Not concerned with the usefulness the truck was intended for.
It makes me happy the way it is.
It may sit most of the winter like my navigator did, I have an alternate lowered vehicle to beat up on!

Also, have changed out the XLT fog lights.
