Took my bumper apart for other reasons. Did not do swap but the solid infill panel is identical fittings. Can be done with bumper in place. The small plastic panels either side will need taking off first and then the center. Easier and less chance of damage to paintwork if can be pushed from pinching clips with pliers from behind. 7 clips 3 either side as in picture and one centre bottom. Alternatively with decent quality panel removal tool (can be done with screwdriver but more likely to damage paint/plastic) between bumper and panels from outside.
Update: Slightly more involved as have to remove the 4 white plastic clips that attach the bottom valance to the front, once these have been removed the full front plastic part can be unclipped by pulling forward together with center section. The center plastic will then unclip and can be r replaced with solid infill. All easier done with bumper removed, but can be done in situ accessing clips on V8 from underneath.
