Hi, me again. I want to find the ignition/accessory wire used by the ACM to trigger turn on/off. I want to use it to trigger my Kicker Key 200.4 and a powered subwoofer. I own an XLT and therefore a standard non-BO radio. Currently I am using DC offset to turn on the Key and it’s blue trigger wire to turn on the sub. But in doing this the Key will send a “pop” to the speakers at about a 10 second interval even after the ACM has fully powered down; I don’t know why.
Back to the wire. I prefer not to go back behind the ACM, so looking for another more easily accessible location would be great. I can use another standard switched circuit - I use one for my dash cam - but the ACM behaves differently in that it will stay on for 10 minutes after the ignition is turned off. This probably means I will have to go behind the ACM, but as I said I would prefer not to.
Thanks, Chris.
