I have a 22 5.0 and I have been running livernois 93 tune for about a month now. Ever since install it has shifted hard from park into drive. It makes a clunk sound as well as lurches the truck forward. I have driven it about 3000 miles and allowed the trans to relearn and it still does it. I just did a trans relearn on the mycalibrator yesterday and it has seemed to make it worse. I have not rodded truck at all either. Just normal daily driving and acceleration. I reached out to them yesterday as well and waiting to hear back. Just curious if anyone has had anything similar. Truck has 37k on it
Thanks

I actually sent them an email about this same issue over a week ago, and they have not responded. I think I had just gotten used to it over time, but I swapped back to stock the other day to take mine to the dealer to have something done, and it doesn't happen stock. Then when I switched back to the tune, it went right back to doing it. This was after I had gotten all of the MyCalibrator updates too.

I submitted a tune request form for a less aggressive shift tune. 3-4 days later they sent me a tune. They said it’s normally $10 for a tune revision but since they take customer satisfaction so highly, they won’t charge me. I loaded the new tune and it shifts MUCH better now. Not only from park to drive, but through all the gears now. No surging or anything. I’m very happy with the revision.
try submitting a request form and see what they can do!

Well, I already have their soft-shift tune. The shifting while driving is fine, it's just going into D or R that's the issue.

did you raise the idle up in the tune? That would make it harsher on P to R or D.

You should be contacting them and not wasting time here.
Pick up the phone. Describe issue. Wait for email containing new tune.

Easy peasy.

Got a new tune from Anthony over at Livernois that fixed the problem. Feels about the same while driving, but doesn't lurch shifting out of park anymore. He mentioned it could be the transmission fluid being low causing it on the original tune. I may try to crawl under there and check it this weekend. Wish there was a dipstick under the hood.

One exists but I'm not sure how to add fluid with it installed.
Don't know if I want it that bad! lol. I don't think it's losing fluid or anything, Anthony mentioned that they sometimes come underfilled from the factory. I'll probably just ask the dealer to check it next time I bring it in.
