Thing I discovered recently that my previous Fords did not do:
If the shade is closed and I open the sunroof and then close it again; it will close the shade too.

Thing that really annoys me:
4 clicks left to go from normal to sport mode and then when I come back to normal it will go to 2WD instead of 4A.
If I turn off the truck while in sport and don't click "yes go back to sport" next time it will start again in normal 4A. Weird.
I don't understand why we just don't have a sport button and let the other less frequent (slippery, mud, etc.) modes for the awkward dial.

At least I have a heated steering wheel button now. My MKX had me exit carplay and go to the lincoln climate screen to turn it on and off.

My new to me 21 Platinum apparently has a different frame that causes it to rock like a boat. Looking to fix it in 2 days with a rear sway bar. Wish I had read about this prior to my purchase. My 21 is loaded and has nothing missing for a truck built during this time period.

My truck was a pretty big upgrade from my previous 2011 XLT EB in pretty much every way so I'm overall very happy with it. Some little things that stick out though:

Pros:
- not sure why, but my 2011 did not have any locking storage (glove box, console, etc) so having that is awesome.
- same goes for the door keypad, my 2011 did not have one for some reason despite my lower-optioned 2009 having one
- The under seat storage setup and the folding seats in the rear are vastly superior to my old truck, being a SuperCrew vs SuperCab helps as well, lol.

Cons:
- having to hit OK to clear the seatbelt display every single time I start the truck
- same with having to hit the +/- button each time to bring up the gear display (my old truck persisted between starts)
- Sport mode is amazing but I wish it was modified or there was a "Hybrid Sport" mode that didn't kill electric driving in the PowerBoost trucks
- more direct control/feedback from the HVAC would be nice. I also use auto mode a lot but it would be nice if the recirc button reflected if it was actually recirculating or not.

Mostly minor annoyances but that seems to be the purpose of this thread, lol

Love my ‘22. One thing that bothered me was the antenna whipping in my peripheral vision. Fixed it with a 12” antenna from ronin.

Other than that the window up and down is slower than other vehicles I’ve owned

I am very used to my Honda Civic which automatically locks the doors when I walk away from it. So I, by habit, just walk away from my F150 and forget to lock the doors.

Wish it was easier to turn on or off auto stop.

I previously had a Ranger with power fold mirrors. Have to fold passenger mirror to get into my garage. Minor annoyance to have to stop in the driveway and fold the mirror in.

Does a good job towing so that is what is really important. Other things are just little quirks.

Like mentioned, I hate how sport mode turns on A4wd, I always default it to 2wd.

I tried various bullet antenna’s but reception sucked. The OEM antenna has saved my bacon several times when entering garages. My wife freaks when she hears the scraping. 😆

I wish that I could reorganize the mode sequences. As mentioned, scrolling to get to Sport is a hassle.

I live up in the Cascade foothills and the bummer is topography affects our reception. Love the look of the bullet antenna.

Bad: AC recirculation turning off. Whoever came up with this concept needs to be publicly shamed.

If you don't mind shelling out a little money, there is an auto/stop eliminator that you can install. It is very easy to install behind the bottom glovebox. It works great, but I would take it out when having your truck worked on while still in warranty.

I mainly use carplay or satellite. But I didn’t notice any difference in reception with the 12” ronin. That said. I live in North Dakota. So…..

Here’s one. The cluster display sometimes remembers where it was set. And sometimes defaults back to a menu screen.
