I ordered on 12/14 and still don't have a VIN. I told my dealer that I'm aware of several orders that received a VIN within a week of ordering. The dealer said they never receive a VIN until the build is scheduled. Seems a bit dubious to me but I've dealt with the dealer for over 20 years so I don't think they're lying.
I think my delay is being caused because of the max recline seats and work surface. I don't have a issue waiting...I don't drive much during the pandemic anyway.

I received my VIN yesterday and scheduled for the week of March 15th.

I have yet to see a Limited in person, as none of my local dealers have gotten them in yet. I will say that at first glance, I find the blue interior to be somewhat off-putting. It does seem to change from photo to photo though, so lighting may have something to do with it.

Did anyone feel like they did not like the interior at first when viewing photos online, but fell in love with it in person?

The biggest thing keeping me from ordering at this point is seeing the Limited interior in person.

You might look at an earlier post by zdjelar on 1/27/21. I had the same concern but after reviewing the photos it was clear the admiral blue gives the truck an appropriate look for the Limited model. The computer generated pictures on Ford's website are not representative of the actual color. It's also true for the AMB exterior color!

Definitely looks better in person. I love the tasteful carbon fiber, and the metal trim. The seats were very comfortable. The suede head-liner looks excellent.

I think I would still prefer something Black, but I really like the Limited trim level, so I plan on ordering one in the next week or so.

I keep flip-flopping on exterior paint. I think I like Anti-Matter blue the most, but I also really like the look of the star white with a level, larger tires, and new wheels. Here's some screenshots of Youtube videos that show what I have in mind:

All fake. All some form of plastic.

For context, I'm considering a Limited. But even in a Range Rover, for example, the manufacturers are really good in faking the customer out.

Fair. I guess I didn’t really consider whether any of it was “real”. I do think it looks good though, regardless of what it’s actually made of.

We had our ‘home delivered’ last night . Seems all various colors change
with the amount of lighting . After a Lengthy evaluation and search, this is where we arrived.
