Ordering a couple of options and see which one we like best. Thank you for the suggestions!

I always put a fiberglass cap on my trucks and slide in a heavy rubber mat for the bed. My dogs loved the beach and it was far easier to have them inside the bed of the truck which could be hosed out than inside the cab.

The dogs quickly came to view the bed and camper top as a portable dog house and at rest stops they were reluctant to leave their mobile home.

The fiberglass keeps the back area cool without need for AC. I have the windows tinted with a ceramic limo tint which keeps the interior cooler and prevents a potential thief from looking inside.

Has anyone found a solution for just covering the underside of the back seats?

I put my seats up when I have my dogs and have a husky floor mats they are easy enough to clean up. My issue is hair getting stuck to the carpeted underside of the back seats

These are sold as "pet bridges" on Amazon and help with the critters and also with keeping personal items on the floor of the cab out of sight. You will still have access to the cab floor for groceries and other items.

The one I bought comes of in a minute and folds and goes inside a storage bag that came with the pet bridge. I store it in the garage when not in use in the truck. I have used the same one in my previous pickup and in a full size SUV.

Thanks. I have a few of those but that isn’t what I am looking for. I need something that only attaches to the underside of the seat and can stay there for the most part whenever I move the seats up and down. It would also need to be out of the way for passengers when down.

I have the Rough Country neoprene covers in the rear also. Depending on your dogs, you may want to add door protectors as well. Our goldendoodle goes completely nuts when we arrive somewhere so I got them to prevent the door cards from being destroyed.

With my two large Belgian sheepdogs I have always used a fiberglass camper shell and a thick rubber bedmat for them. The truck becomes their portable dog house and I become their driver.

Having large dogs in the cab is not something I would ever do. The bed of the truck can be hosed out when they get sand or mud inside.

I had the Knines for the last 9 months or so: very durable, but was looking for something a little more form fitting and that allowed easier access to the seatbelts and underseat storage since they stay on 24/7.

I ended up buying these Rough Country neoprene covers for $109 from Amazon. Really like them so far- we’ll see how they stand up to 2 seventy pound dogs:

I ended up with the 4Knines and I've been very happy with them. Form fitting, easy to install or remove, allows for the seat-belt use and hold up nicely with our 2 dogs and child back there. Very happy with the coverage and ease of use. Folds up nicely and stores under the seat.
