Three, I'm intrigued by the perceived usefulness of the PAT. Maybe it'll be completely pointless and I'll end up using it as a normal tailgate 99% of the time, but I don't want to be wondering that later when I see PAT's in the wild and I'm without.

I can speak on this part. I use my power tailgate all the time. It comes in handy a lot more often than you think. Example, I need to back into a loading dock but want to use the backup camera all the way until I get in position. when I get close to position, I push the button to lower the tailgate so I know I'm not too close when the tailgate drops.


Another time is when someone else is unloading the bed. I can just stay in the truck and bring the tailgate down from inside. then bring it back up to leave.

3rd example. I got a 5 month old baby. I'll push the button for the tailgate to come down with one hand while holding her. Put up her stroller then push the button for the tailgate. All with one hand, all while holding the young'un.

Had my dealer look it up and did not see a recall…..just the Powertrain Control Module and Secondary Onboard Diagnostic Control Module need updates

It's not really a recall (the term the dealership used), but here's what I'm referencing;

"The dealer told me today that the PowerBoost has a recall as of 6/18. It is regarding the misfire software, which doesn't affect drivability. Two modules need a software update.

Per the document he read, any new PowerBoost cannot be delivered until the software update is completed. The software is not available yet when the technician logs onto the server. So, my KR sits in the bullpen waiting for software. I can't even test-drive it.

All other PowerBoosts will be fixed when they come in for any other service or a recall letter later this year. "

I'm continuing to make good progress, my truck was offloaded in Jackson, MS on 6-20 (some reason it was diverted from New Orleans but my dealer told me to expect that) It is scheduled to be delivered between today 6-25 and 7-1. Almost time for a happy dance!!

My order seems to be hung up for some reason. Blend date of 6/17 and last update was 6/20 that it was in secondary production. Not sure what’s taking so long but hopefully I get some movement soon. Chat says 7/1 to 7/7 delivery

Mine was the same build week as yours, it’s a 502a PB. Just flipped to “built” today.

I’m in MN and the truck is being built in MI, would you say roughly 2 weeks till delivery??

That makes me feel better. What was your blend date? I’d say it’s possible for it to get there that fast

The key is to find out when it actually gets on the train. Took mine 6 days to get to KC from Dearborn.

What date does it show below in production on your tracker? It’s found on your window sticker on the top above where it says blend

I don’t know where to grab my window sticker, if you can help with that it would be much appreciated.

I can tell you from my tracker that I was scheduled for production for week of 6/17, in production 6/18 and built 6/24. Does that make sense?
