Hi everyone, I have a 2021 Limited PB with roughly 12k miles. I was wiring up my radar to the fuse panel and took out the rubber passenger floor mat to notice that the front passenger foot area carpet was moist/wet. We had rain on and off constantly for 2/3 days prior to this. Is this normal? I couldn't really trace it to where it was coming from. The truck was parked on a pretty steep driveway pointed up.

Do you have the panoramic sun roof? If so It's pretty common for a drain tube to be clogged, and there's even been a truck or two that the tubes were disconnected or never correctly installed from the factory.

All Limited's have panoramic roofs. Otherwise you're likely on the right track.
B.T.W.....
They have Windshield issues couple years ago and am wondering if that could be a leak issue. I'd check with the dealer on that as well. Some folks might have missed that recall.

I have had the AC drain back into the cab. I have an inclined driveway and if the nose is high, It can cause the ac drain to run into the cab. It drips on the passenger floor. There is a tube that comes out of the firewall. The tube is too short and can cause the water drain to run back down into the firewall. May be worth liiking at.

anyone figure this out... i been deployed in japan for 6 months my buddy has been watching my truck... every strong rain passenger side carpet completely soaked.. literally standing water in the channels under the door. cant seem to replicate it or find the source. seems dry where you would think it would have to be wet for water to get there. and its JUST there no where else. Firewall seems dry as well looking back at it from the front over the battery area. maybe the antenna wire? running along it? i hate this...

Hi Connel! I can look into your F-150's leak concern on my end. To get started, could you please send a private message over with the name/location of your local Ford dealer and your F-150’s VIN?

The drain on the passenger side cowl gets clogged up due to it being a piss poor design. When clogged up water will make its way into the fresh air inlet for the HVAC and saturate the cabin filter then flood the passenger side carpet.

You need to use a coat hanger or other thin wire to clear the two holes (one on the front and the other 90 degrees from it on the bottom) as well as the slot that's between them. Had this same thing happen to mine and Ford considers this a maintenance issue and will not cover it under warranty despite there being absolutely no documentation anywhere that this drain needs to be cleared out regularly.
