First-time F150 owner. PB 22 Limited.

Are these drip locations normal? 2 by rear exhaust, 2 under middle of truck.

This is while idling at a campsite yesterday, while ProPowering a trailer at about 1 kW. Moderate/temperate weather.

Attached photo. Video too big so here’s an iCloud link:

My 5.0 leaves the equivalent in drips to the Shroud of Turin outlining the entire exhaust behind the cats when idling.

These new engines are insanely efficient even compared with ones from ten years ago when it comes to turning fuel hydrocarbons into less offensive compounds like H2O and others as byproducts of the combustion process.

Thanks, everyone. FWIW, I'd been worried about coolant leaking since the truck has been repaired twice for coolant issues. This thread helped. Plus, I've been taking measurements, and I think all of the fluctuations in levels are caused by temp (ambient, engine). Sleeping better now.

Water is one of the combustion products. It is in the exhaust stream regardless. So where does that water come from? When the exhaust pipe is cold, it will condense that water. Since sulfuric acid (& other nasty stuff) is also one of the combustion products, putting weep holes along the exhaust pipe enables draining of the liquid. This reduces rot out of the exhaust piping. There is a good chance that if you're using the PPOB to power your campsite (& the exhaust stream reduced), the pipe may not fully heat up and the condensation could be nearly continuous.
