My order tracking for a Lariat 501a lists this:
  • Leather-Wrapped and Heated Steering Wheel – Power Tilt and Telescoping with Memory
Is that a mistake?

Also has a second steering wheen entry as follows:
- Wrapped Steering Wheel

Any idea?
Thanks!
I have a 25 Lariat power boost that I ordered got it 3/29/25 no manual steering wheel adjustment, no tail gate control on dash, no key pad on door, and rear bumper is smaller than on my 23 I traded. I kind of wish I kept my 23 2.7 I dont tow and will never use 4 wheel drive in the south. It rides really nice and is quieter than my 23 though

There’s a way to retrofit the keypad on the door. I started a thread with instructions if you’re interested.

I believe they made the rear bumper smaller so that you can step into the bed easier using the pro access tailgate

I would be interested in the keypad, not sure if I have the ability to do the job though. What would it cost also I used mine all the time. I wish that ford would at least say you can buy the factory deletes at a cost .I got the bed utility package and the no longer give you the box link tie downs they are a 135 dollar option.

10 years, never used the key pad once on my 14 fx4. I think they are dealer/owner installed option . On the other side I think ford is trying to contain costs and maybe customer surveys/research has indicated that these are items they can eliminate with the least amount of backlash.
