Story time… Remember when Armor All was the craze. In the 80’s I owned a Toyota Tacoma with vinyl flooring, back when the FM radio was an upgrade.

One day, I decided it was time to wash the flooring due to weeks of road construction mess. Afterwards, I decided, hey let’s use this nifty “vinyl protector” on the vinyl floor ?

Life’s full of lessons…
I 'detailed' my dad's car back in the late 80's for Father's Day. Boy did I get those pedals shiny and clean!

He wasn't impressed. ?‍♂

I fix software bugs!
This might not apply, but floor mats need cleaning too..... I have the Ford "slush" mats, wife has the Weathertech, and my son has the Husky's. I use Simply Green to clean them. Remove them from the vehicle of course, lay them flat out of the sun, spray it on, let it soak/sit, maybe use a bristle brush for heavy soil, hose it off. Once they dry, the material looks brand new again.

I use Optinum No Rinse diluted to quick detailer ratio for 99% of interior cleanings. This includes dash, seats, screen, all weather mats, interior windows, everything.

It's super economical and most people would dillute it much more, but I want to be extra careful with the screen - clean microfiber is key here.

A gallon of optimum no rinse makes 16 gallons of quick detailer. I also found the rinseless wash (1 Oz of product to 2 gallons of water) to be the quickest way to clean a slightly dirty car.

Firm believer of cleaning with the lightest product that will do the job. I like how it doesn't leave much residue and smells great.

I enjoy a different hobby that includes conditioning leather, but the coated seats have more in common with the dash than they do actual leather. Leather conditioning products don't make sense on these seats, as they are not absorbing the product. Best thing you can do is keep the seats clean to avoid microabrasion.

Used ONR for years on my 2011 and everyone thought was it much younger truck. I never considered using it for interior work.

Such a versatile do (almost) everything product. Even works great for cleaning sunglass lenses. Dont forget the door jams. For best results use distilled water for mixing the quick detailer.

Same here, I use it as a quick detailer as well as a rinseless occasionally but never thought to try it as an interior detailer.

Thanks for the tip Cb Mw ?
