You have lane centering enabled in that pic.

The U in front of you is representing that adaptive cruise is enabled, that’ll be on whether lane centering is or or not. The lane centering being active and “locked on” is represented by the blue semicircles to the left snd right of the truck.

Now I'm confused. I didn't think you could add Co-Pilot 360 Active Prep (lane centering) to a build with that gauge cluster. Thought you could only add it to Lariat 502A or higher, which come with the full LCD gauge.

edit: I see I was wrong, you can add Copilot 360 2.0 to an XLT which includes lane centering. Does that mean lariat 502A is only required for Bluecruise?

Active Prep is not required for LC.

I have LC without the Active Prep kit. You just need the Co-Pilot 360 Assist.

Active Prep is BlueCruise.

Lane Centering is not BlueCruise. Lane Centering is part of the Adaptive Cruise control included in the "Assist" package.

No, even with 502A you still require the Co-Pilot 360 Active Prep Kit to take advantage of Blue Cruise.

Blue Cruise is pretty much just the name they gave to the feature you get with the Active Prep option. I wouldn’t be surprised if they just rename this option to directly being named Blue Cruise on the B & P tools in the future to avoid confusion. I think they called it Active Prep before the Blue Cruise name was ever made public at all, and because it was just “prep” and the feature didn’t even exist yet (Still doesn’t really, it’s just in beta).

The 3 different levels of Co-Pilot definitely are a bit confusing to many.

Has anyone successfully managed to use LK only, without LC. LK, that vibrates the steering wheel in alert mode and brings you back away from the line in aid mode?? If so, i sure could use a walk-through..

Yep, just turn it off. Driver Assistance>Cruise Control and then toggle it off as seen here:

Not that confusing, he was just looking to disable the lane centering and didn’t know how.

This system does need some updates. I despise needing to keep a constant pull on the wheel to avoid messages along very straight sections of road when it is engaged. I often disengage it for that reason.

I have the lane centering off and used the lane keeping on a 60 mile freeway drive last month. I tested the hand or hands on the wheel and found that just enough grip pressure kept the warning from showing. With just finger tips on the wheel it did not take long for the message. With one hand on the wheel with a slight grip it would not show.
The most interesting part of using this was that it actually works. Forty of the sixty miles I did not have to steer. When I got closer to the big city and traffic increased, I shut it off. A really nice feature.
