King Ranch/Platinum Build Times??

Over a year for my lariet and it still hasn’t left the factory. Thank god I didnt order a higher trim lol

I ordered a 2021 King Ranch (specs in my signature block below) on Sep 16 last year. It was not picked up for scheduling and was converted to a 2022 on Oct 1. Produced on Jan 25 in Dearborn, chip hold on Feb 25 at Ramp 51 in Flat Rock, built notice on Mar 20, and now awaiting shipment. Unknowns at this point - when will it ship, when will it arrive at the dealership, and is it really complete or being shipped with missing chips/modules that don't affect safe operation?

There's hope! The Ford tracker just updated this morning to reflect my order being shipped.

ordered K/R oct 25 no vin# as of march 23 "A" plan priority 10

I ordered my 2021 King Ranch May 24, 2021. The dealer or Ford lost my order and entered a new order October 12, 2021. Truck changed to a 2022, but as of March 29th, 2022 still no VIN number or delivery information. My daughter took a tour of the Ford Dearborn truck plant last week and was told the produce one F150 every 93 seconds, why am I still waiting over 10 months? I wonder if I can get a Dodge Ram or Chevrolet Silverado quicker?

Based on a lot of reading on this website, is it actually true that King Ranch/Platinum orders are taking 6+ months to arrive??

I ordered my King Ranch Powerboost on 2/15 and my build week (which I got via email on 3/23) is 4/18. Looks like about 3 months from order to delivery, at least at this point. Pretty good . . . though I wouldn't be stunned if things changed . . . or if they didn't. And, am wondering if it will show more or less on time but without a few chips. My order sheet is below.

Thanks for the information, my salesman told me today they don't know when it will be built, I have to wait for Ford to tell them! Not to happy right now!

I've seen some posts saying that Ford is prioritizing new orders . . . if true that hardly seems fair. What I see is that there are folks who ordered in 2021 who still haven't been given a build date. I, and others, ordered recently and we seem to be at the front of the line. Honestly, I was expecting 6 months and figured that I was at the back of the line, not the front. If I'd ordered in 2021 and saw newbies such as myself having their orders filled quickly I'd be hacked off big time.

I believe two wheel drive trucks do get built quicker than four wheel drive trucks based on my knowledge and witnesses.
