Possible to pre load them to 2.5” you think or will it affect the ride?
My truck was sitting about about 2.5" of lift over stock with the way these coil overs came setup, coincidentally the springs were also preloaded 2.5", and you got about .5" of adjustment in either direction. In my opinion if you are looking for 2-3" of front lift on these trucks any leveling coilover plus the tremor knuckle is the way to go.

Back together and that move brought the front down an inch, test loop felt much less topped out and better over small bump.

I was going to recommend a UCA to maximize that additional length (Travel), but looks like you handled it!

You stock front springs were probably 514lbs right?

Stock springs were 475. I don't think the OE upper arm limits travel before the CV on these trucks. The Icon upper added about 2 degrees of caster vs the OE at lift with net loss of 1 degree over spec. Truck corners more intuitively now, was my goal to keep tire wear reasonable.

Nice. You might want to look at the SPC camber and caster bolts too. I've got the HD kit that are much tougher than factory and allow adjustments.

That's solid advice, I actually setup the truck with that HD kit before I had the last alignment done. The factory bolts are really easy to shift.

Did some heavier towing this weekend, new suspension setup was killer for this load, incredibly comfortable and controlled.

Just installed the same on my 23 tremor and what a difference. Speed bumps suck dick now but everything else feels great. I will be ordering softer springs as well! Front transfer case went out right after install so waiting for a new unit under warranty from ford. Wild!

The tremor has a 2.5 rear axle block so we were trying to raise the front a tad to level out the truck via more spring preload but made everything too stiff with just a minor adjustment. Going to order an fx4 rear block (1 inch shorter than tremor) then take out preload in the front. If that doesn’t eat the bump softer spring rate it is.

Swapped in some 500lb springs this weekend. The 600lb springs took a while to break in, like a month or 2 which is about 3-5k miles for me. Expecting the same with these. Was running the 600's with the collar at the cap. Towing and loaded up is awesome, also smashes like a class 8 truck offroad. Unloaded truck rides a bit like a 3/4 ton unless you push it hard. The 500's feel pretty spot on now, I've got the collar 3/4" from the cap now and am about .5" higher before they settle. Definitely using more wheel travel everywhere, still feel no need for the sway bar. Way more comfort offroad in the speed ranges I intend for this truck to work now, have yet to have a really harsh bottom out. Now the rear needs some tuning to keep up.

Survived another round of spring compressing

Nice, did you have to stiffen the valving at all to control the new spring rate.

No valving changes yet, it does not blow through travel and the rebound is still plenty quick. I'm fully open on all the compression adjuster also, I think once the springs have set in again I will need to add a few clicks.

Next upgrade on mine, the stock springs are too stiff unless you are running low psi. Thanks for the feedback!
