Hi All.

I have a 22 F150 XLT with the base stereo system (Not b/o). I have upgraded my door speakers and added sound deadening and block off plates. I'm still needing a little more bass. I have already made some forscan changes to flatten the eq and make center speaker tweeter only. I would like to install a Kicker HS10.

I would like to do this by not cutting/splicing factory wires. And I would like to do this in the most cost effective way.

I'm reading that I need to tie into the front door speakers for signal instead of the rear door speakers.

How do I go about this without cutting/splicing factory wires? Is the PAC LPHFD31 the answer? If so, is anything else needed?

Thanks in advance for your guidance.

The HS10 comes with everything, but yes you will need to tap into front doors for signal.
Power and ground, run power from battery.

Is the PAC LPHFD31 the best way for the money to connect to the front door speakers without cutting or splicing?

How will you get speaker input to your PAC LPf? You can either make or purchase a T harness and if your buying it I would just have whoever builds it for you add sub inputs. Plug N Play makes one and so does HUSH Car Audio. Both are great products and easier than you think to install.
My setup is factory HU with T Harness to an LCI 6 into Alpine amp and out to Alpine speakers. Center speaker removed And Eq set to flat. I’m not running a sub at this time but my T harness came with sub inputs.

Hope this helps.

Bruse Watson at Hush Car Audio made a plug and play harness for me that included wires for the Sub.
