Did you contact your insurance company? They might cover the key replacement. Also even if your fob is reprogrammed my 2023 XLT has a knife key. “ a key slot to start the truck” and it opens the door. My daughter has the the Ford lariat. With a push button start. To be safe you would need the truck rekeyed as well as the new key fobs reprogrammed. To keep the thief from steeling your truck or just getting in with the hard key. Door locks and ignition switch key. Not to mention the tailgate and glove box. This could get really expensive. I paid about $200 for a spare key and fob reprogrammed. When I bought my truck used in Oct of 23 it only had one key. I’m not worried about an extra key floating around because I bought it from a dealership 5 hrs from where I live and it was a daily rental. I bought a third key fob and programmed it so I could make a spare if I washed one but never had it cut.
