Key in locked truck

2 easy options. Take the battery out of a spare key and hide it. Use the cupholder function to start the vehicle. Or, get a faraday bag and put your key in it. Hide it. The truck won’t recognize a key in the vehicle and you can use the keypad to lock and unlock truck. Truck won’t start by push of the button until you remove the key from the faraday bag or use the cupholder trick.

That's what I do in case someone breaks in my truck and hits the start button. I can lock my truck with the fob in it from the keypad.

Fordpass works great, until you don't have a signal, but then the keypad should work.
