Key FOB not starting motor

Anyone else have this issue starting from KEY fob inside house not working but phone start does from Phone APP? Maybe it's me and maybe it is not.

How long did you battery last in the FOB?

My fob works fine. Think I changed battery after 1 year not sure it needed it going in 2 years now. Does fob open doors?

Haven't had the F150 long enough to find out, but it's about every year I had to replace the battery in car remotes.

Try the other fob to see if it starts it. If yes, replace the battery and see if it will start the truck. If not go out and pull out the rubber cover in the cup holder and insert the key into the slot at the bottom of the cup holder then start the truck and shut it off. Exit and lock the truck, lock it and try the remote start with the fob again.

Neither FOBs worked using that trick to start the PU but all other functions are good. It has been 3.5 years and will R&R the FOB battery anyway.. Thanks for the info..
