Thought I would start a thread to allow some of us slated for build when KC resumes building in June, to compare notes.

For instance, I am seeing a LOT of people on various threads posting that they are scheduled for a 6/14 build (me included)... does anyone know the weekly capacity of the plant in units produced (irrespective of chip and parts shortages)?

Seems to me they have told an awful lot of us our trucks will be built this week.

KCAP is down this week and next. On another forum, an employee mentioned that they won’t be back to full production until week of June 14 but it’s not what Ford released a couple weeks ago and I don’t know where his info came from aside from him working at the plant.

My original build was April 22. On April 15, my build got reassigned to May 7 and I was immediately sent to plant based on the visibility report so I am “in production.” My window sticker still has a blend date of May 7 so I assume guys like you weren’t sent to the plant before shut down and that’s why your build dates are getting bumped farther out? I am expecting that my truck is built within days of the plant opening because that’s the ETA when you are “sent to plant.”

Same here scheduled for April and then pushed to May 7th with an “in production” and “sent to plant” status and no new build date

So I'm hoping that mine is one of the first to go down the line when it opens back up in June, but I'm certainly not holding my breath on that. I have not heard of any reassigned dates for my truck.

Screw XLT 302A 3.5EB max tow, special order with $1000 deposit and “A”plan

ordered 2/26
VIN on 3/8
Blend date 4/16 (truck must have been finished on last day)
Arrived at dealer 5/3

66 days from order to my driveway.

Yeah who knows? I was originally a 5/17 sheduled build date, but never got as far as a window sticker/ blend before the shutdown. I guess that’s why I was rescheduled to 6/14. Good news for you though, at least you have a light at the end of the tunnel, I am still in the dark.

I am still concerned that they have over promised customers for the early weeks of June production wise.

Sitting in production purgatory since... with KC down this week and next, I see June 6 as unlikely, but I remain hopeful...

Hi all, my order was placed 3/30 and initially was slated for a 5/24 build day. The most recent build day I was assigned was during the week of June 28th. Seems to me there is an awful lot scheduled during June as well. Here's to hoping they have were able to stockpile chips in KC to help complete these orders. Oh and my status is at order confirmed still, not sent to plant just yet: Hopefully that happens mid-June.

Thanks for sharing this! if i understand correctly:

- Dearborn Truck Plant and Kansas City Assembly Plant – truck line – will be down the weeks of May 31 and June 7 and will operate on a reduced schedule the week of June 14

So this one is going to affect the Dearborn guys as well.

This makes the question even more of interest...

Does anyone know the unit capacity per week (or better, PER SHIFT) of the Dearborn plant and the KC plant?

I've heard the same. let's see what happens. I've been pushed back three times already at KC with no window sticker or sent to plant yet. I dont even know what my next build week will be.

In the same boat as some other guys. Kept getting pushed. Blend date of 5/6. Order was sent to plant and tracker shows "in production" currently. Order was placed on 1/21/21.

Does your window sticker still have that same blend date?

I received my build date (June 7) the day before they announced all the closures and the June 7 reopening date.

Since then I've seen variations on the closures such as "1/2 shifts, building Transits only, etc...
But the June 7 opening date has remained consistent.
