  1. Yet another 2.7 10speed vibration post

Ask your dealer about the CDF drum failure. Many of your symptoms seem like a shudder condition and the CDF drum failure causes shuddering. Ford did a design change on the CDF drum in late 2022.
  2. Can my F150 Handle Towing This Travel Trailer?

As others have mentioned, you will hit max payload before you exceed claimed max trailer rating. that is a heavy tongue weight at nearly 14% It will absolutely pull it, and a WDH will help immensely, just be mindful of your payload and frankly you can probably haul your added gear in the...
  3. Normal towing mileage ?

For reference, 3.5Eco max tow 3.55 getting 21 mpg not towing gets 9.5-10.5 towing 8500# boat/trailer combo at 70-75mph mostly flat.

  5. Max Tow Stiffness

Had a 21 max tow and now a 23 max tow, I would never describe either as stiff.
  6. Word of Advice...

That has more to do with how surge brakes work on the trailer.
  7. No More Camaros!

The Gen 6 Camaro is built on the alpha chassis shared with the Cadillac ATS-V. It's an elite track chassis but simply too small if you are over 6' tall.
  8. 24 grill/front end vs 23

I picked up a 23 at end of February 2024 for 24% off msrp after incentives and A plan. Not much changed for 24 unless you want the new tailgate, and new grill, headlights and taillights, otherwise still a Gen 14.
  9. What universe is Farley living in

For awhile 3.5 EB was not available in Q12024. Coincidentally CAFE standard increased for MY 2024 which might explain why the late build MY 2023's https://natlawreview.com/article/biden-administration-adopts-new-vehicle-fuel-economy-standards
  10. What universe is Farley living in

Well Farely's cousin did run Callahan Auto... I wouldn't wait 6 months to take a 2024 especially with the steep discounts on the 23's, Still something bigger than just quality checks holding up 2024's. We will likely never know the truth. But building full production volume of 2023's in...
  11. 24 grill/front end vs 23

Still blows my mind that it's May 2024 and Ford is still selling new 23's.
  12. Can't get a clear reading on oil dipstick

I have the same issue on my 3.5 and 2.7. I typically wait until engine is cold to attempt reading the dipstick.
  13. OEM tires wore out pretty quick

I have new take offs of the factory HKAT2 in my barn, less than 50 miles. Center tread measures at 11/32nds Outer shoulder is 7/32nds Tire rack lists 10.5/32nds. The factory dynoproAT2 is a poorly chosen highway tire at best. By comparison a Falken AT4W tread depth is 18/32nds edge and...
  14. OEM tires wore out pretty quick

That added battery weight is not helping.
  15. Dealer tech ripped trans diaper

My 23 didn't come with one, my 2019 fell off about a month ago. No intention of replacing
  16. 2024 XLT headlights and light pipes

I don't mind the 2024 XLT grill/light combo, and only reason I consider it a downgrade is they took something away compared to 21-23. Perhaps less is more but technically it's a decontent. Light pipes remain on the higher trims. I mean the forum logo is based on the light pipes.....lol
  17. 2024 XLT headlights and light pipes

2024 XL,STX and XLT get the amber DRL's and no light pipes. Lariat + retain the white light pipe DRL's.
  18. 2024 XLT headlights and light pipes

Ok thanks, now I see the amber is the DRL, I thought it was the turn signal and they went back to using headlight as DRL. Makes sense, thanks.
  19. 2024 XLT headlights and light pipes

Can you please post a picture of the new DRL's on your XLT?
  20. 2024 XLT headlights and light pipes

Did the 2024 XLT headlights take a step backwards compared to the 21-23 model years? I have not seen one in the wild yet, but the DRL light pipes appear to be gone.
