I received my build date (June 7) the day before they announced all the closures and the June 7 reopening date.

Since then I've seen variations on the closures such as "1/2 shifts, building Transits only, etc...
But the June 7 opening date has remained consistent.

?

That’s what I thought as well UNIKRN150, but this story seems to suggest KC won’t open as expected on 6/7!

No worries... I was never under any illusion of making it through June with my "bubble" intact.

Did you have any shortage stuff? Bed liner, worksurface, wheel liners etc?

No factory bedliner, no work surface, no wheel liners.

that certainly helped.

Does your window sticker still have that same blend date?

Yeah I keep checking it every week, and the Blend date has remained 220210419

The only constraint item from the most recent list is the spray-in bed liner.

I figure there's no point in bothering my dealer unless I get to the first few days of June and there's no changes to the tracking info nor a window sticker available.

Well darn, my June 7th build week is now toast. It will be interesting to see where I land once they restart.

lariat supercab 5.0, no liner or wheel liner but did add work surface and pro power 2kw (I haven’t heard of this being a constraint but I’m sure there are chips involved with that option).... oh yeah and CoPilot Assist 360 (more chips). Ordered 3/27, SpaceWhite is what landed me in KC (may have anyway but that sealed my fate).

Looks like my PCO will for sure vaporize and maybe my school discount as well.

Thanks for sharing this! if i understand correctly:

- Dearborn Truck Plant and Kansas City Assembly Plant – truck line – will be down the weeks of May 31 and June 7 and will operate on a reduced schedule the week of June 14

So this one is going to affect the Dearborn guys as well.

This makes the question even more of interest...

Does anyone know the unit capacity per week (or better, PER SHIFT) of the Dearborn plant and the KC plant?

I believe 1500-1600 trucks per day when Dearborn is running normal

Chip supply should ease a bit hopefully in a few weeks:

They claimed that they will be back to full production by the end of this month. Hopefully that will include chips for Ford.

Of course who knows how long from them being to full capacity to the chips then getting to the module makers and them getting to full capacity to then the modules getting to Ford (and anything else in the chain).

Yeah, I got an update from my dealer early this morning that my build week of 6/7 had updated to a build day of 6/22 and then reverted to a build week of 7/5 yesterday.

My May 17 window sticker still has bend date of May 7 but this evening my ETA delivery date has finally changed from June 16 in the tracker to a generic 1990-01-01 date. All I know is my order was sent to plant on April 15 and in production.
