I honestly don’t think order dates matter... it’s crazy. Some guys ordered last fall still haven’t gotten one. But a friend of mine ordered his 1/26 and is being built 3/28. So who knows these days lol. I ordered my XLT on 2/7 and haven’t gotten a production date yet

I ordered in early July, got a VIN in November, Window Sticker in December. Build week was January 10th, and it's now confirmed sitting in Michigan waiting for a micro-chip.

Dealer sent me a picture of the order on his computer with an "End Date" of May, so hoping I get it by then?
Canadian order though, not sure it makes a difference.

It pisses me off that they build trucks they can't complete and then park them while they wait for parts. I’ve been flamed here relentlessly for complaining about that. The typical argument goes something like this…

“Trucks sit on dealer lots for weeks and months and they’re fine”.

But NO brand new vehicle sits on ANY Dealer’s lot untouched. They’re washed, started, driven, etc…

Just make sure you go over your truck with a fine tooth comb when it arrives and be prepared to refuse delivery if there’s anything wrong... as painful as that may be.

"Rust" is an issue but we have to be realistic about it. If a solid part has some surface rust, you have to decide what hill you’re willing to die on with that.

“MY” main concern would be rodent damage. Field mice find F150 wiring harnesses delicious!

Good luck and I hope your “chips” (what a bunch of bullshit THAT is) arrive soon and your truck shows up in pristine condition!

That’s exactly my point about “chips”.

I ordered my truck last March, got my 1st (of 7) build date of June 7th.

As each build date came, went and got rescheduled… by the end of July I was watching guys who ordered their trucks AFTER mine, with MORE options (chips) and higher (worse) “priority codes” get their trucks built, shipped and delivered before mine was even built.

It’s chaos at Ford right now.

They have their heads so far up their asses they can taste what they had for dinner last night!

I wish you ALL the best of luck and all I can say is “hang in there”. You are likely in for one disappointment after another... except that one last one!

My Tremor was built 3/11 and has shipped. Order date 12/14.
I canceled bed liner maybe that helped?

I ordered mine on March 20th 2021 and after SEVEN “promised build dates” they delivered it on November 29th.

Well I’m happy for you but that’s frustrating. My 402A was ordered a week after yours and still no VIN.

Not sure the truth of it, but I read somewhere the module/"chip" that's holding everything up is for the windshield wipers. Obviously a safety issue so can't sell without it. Who knows

I ordered a Tremor 402a on 1/8/22 and have only received the confirmation email. People that ordered Tremors before me haven't gotten scheduled yet either. At some point, they're going to build some tremors. I guess my point is they haven't built any in a while (that I know of) and the longer they haven't, the better the chance that they will.

I saw guys order KR or something similar on 1/29 and they've already got a VIN. My guess is it was time for that set up and they got it in just in time.
