I've seen many complaints about the lack of vents in the rear for those of us with jumpseats. Found these guys and bought them right away. Massive improvement, gets air back to the kiddos way faster when using the floor vents.

Does this defeat having cooled seats? I wouldn't mind buying some even though the kids never complain about being hot or cold, but if it reduces the effectiveness of my cooled seats id keep them on in the winter and take them out in the summer most likely.

That's a good question, I'm not sure if the design of the Ford ventilated seats requires the air that's normally dumped underneath the front seats to cool the driver/front passenger seat.

I've got an XLT without the ventilated/cooled seats so unfortunately I can't answer that for you

I also have these installed and can say what a difference my son has been tremendously happy with the vents going to the back. Makes a huge difference.

the ventilated seats actually suck the air from the seating surface to below. they dont “blow” air on you. turn them on and hold a tissue or piece of paper to the seat back.. it will hold it right there.

SO.. I would think these extenders would actually help get colder air to the back seat. and not the swamp air off your ass !!!!
