EDIT - Solved. Thankyou @HammaMan

In RCM
737-02-01 xxxx xxxx x*--
Make sure that "First Row Middle Seatbelt Sensor Present" = NO.

737-02-02 xxxx *xxx xx--
Make sure that "First Row Center Seat Occupancy Sensor Present" = NO.

737-02-02 xxxx x*xx xx--
Make sure that "First Row Center Seatbealt Pretensioner" = NO.

In IPC
720-01-01 xxxx xx*x xx--
Make sure that "Mid Pass Belt Minder" = NO.

720-02-02 xx** xx--
Make sure that RBM Seating Layout is 2-3-0

^^ This last one for RBM was causing the dash warning "Rear Belt Monitor Fault"

Hey all, I swapped out my jump seat to a center console and while the passenger seat was out I changed the cloth fabric to Lariat takeoff. I'm very happy with the change and hope the wrinkles will smooth out next summer.

One thing I haven't found is what to do about the old jump seat belt sensor missing? What do I need to change in Forscan?

One thing I haven't found is what to do about the old jump seat belt sensor? There were two plugs for the jump seat. One I plugged into the new console but the other I just left there -- I wonder if I missed where it connects. I would think that it's the one causing this persistent DTC. Or do I need to re-program something with Forscan to tell it that there's no longer a jump seat?

I did this mod and removed the little module from the seat belt and then pinned it into the big connector that goes to the truck.

Hey thanks, that's helpful. I just checked out the jump seat again and found this guy on the side....is this what you're talking about? This would be to close the circuit on that plug I left unconnected. I thought it was wired into the jump seat which is why I left it there.

I think it’s pinned into the bigger connector.

Hi i did the same on my single cab. For the wrinkles you may need to redo to pull and mash that Velcro as hard and as deep as possible like white fingers .. my fingers hurt for days after. I still have some wrinkles. As this stuff gets sat on and over time it will strech and make the wrinkles worse. But for the money you can’t beat them.

Thanks for screenshotting those! Changing the first has removed the DTC.

Unfortunately I still have this on the dash (it's been present since removing the passenger seat). No DTC's are present now though. And I haven't touched the rear seats. Do you guys think this is related somehow?

That looks great! Better than mine. I've got the passenger seat out again so I might as well give it a shot.

Thanks. The thing is that there are no codes thrown. I just checked that section of IPC and MPB was disabled. I disabled them all now because they're annoying!

I checked the connections on all the seats, folded the rears down, plugged all the belts in....drove around even. Still getting that warning on the dash!

Thanks, yeah that's one of the videos I followed through the process and added the velcro. I did the seat a second time and it turned out the same, maybe worse.

I don't understand how it's possible. You've got to clip the runners in but also stretch the leather in that middle part with the velcro. I kept popping the runners out. Maybe the way I pried them up weakened the clip's grip. Either way, the seat went back in as ? And I've gotta figure out this stupid dash warning now.

So I swapped the jumpseat back in. The warning on the dash was still there. No DTC though.

I then changed RCM 737-02-01 back so "First Row Middle Seatbelt Sensor Present" = YES. And that got rid of the dash warning. So it's more about the value in this RCM section (737-02-01 xxxx xxxx x*--) being changed that creates the dash warning. Is there something else I'm missing?

There could be other dependent variables in another module, it could also be that they do some strange wiring config that's dependent on that being connected as a jumper. I don't have time to dig into but I do know there's been several conversions done. Might be able to pull a similar truck's asbuilt and start comparing them to find deltas.

That's a good suggestion, digging into that now. If I can't figure this out then I guess I'm stealing the seatbelt sensor off the jumpseat and pinning it into the console's connector as Wes1963 said.
