We tap into a few sensors on engine with a specific wiring harness and then our tuning chip connects onto that harness. It does not connect right into the OBD2 port. Ours is a little more user friendly compared to the JB4. We have an app you'll use to change maps on the fly.I've never heard of this before. How does it compare to the JB4 that integrated into the turbos and OBD connection... and tons of tuning features (for the same price).
If you add any mods to your truck you let us know and we'll have the tuning guy revise your maps and then they get flashed on the backend to your chip that you update with the app. It's a really user friendly tuner and all the legwork for fine tuning is done for free by us.
So yes, the JB4 give the user a little more customization however if you don't know what your doing as in trying to fine tune maps I would highly not recommend playing around with that as you can easily damage something.
