Hi guys, maybe someone will be interested. I disassembled my electric hub. The problem is the worn teeth on the plastic gears.

After replacing the problematic hub with a new one, I connected the old one to the car to understand its operation. When starting the car, it turns them on and off regardless of the mode, that is, it conditionally tests

Very interesting and disappointing that everything is made of plastic. Trying to understand this system...will this eventually fail totally thus rendering 4WD at that wheel inoperative? Mine is making that growling noise (driver side) when cold, and when I shift to 4A it goes away for a while. I am concerned it is going to not allow 4wd engagement just when I want it most.

Well of couse it will fail when you most need it, thats a Rule Truthfully, can it fail if you're not asking for 4WD? The printer never runs out of paper except when its printing.
