Hello esteemed members of the forum.

I am in the process of building out a custom RGB led strip light setup for the bed of my truck. My truck did not come with the bed lighting from the factory and I am looking for where to best tap into power. I am specifically looking for a power source that is "always on" and not tied to zone lighting. As in, I must manually tap an on button to turn the lights on, whether the truck in powered on or off. I've done some spelunking under the bed and found this unused connector. Is this the one that would have otherwise been used for OEM bed lighting? This is located under the passenger side rear bumper.

Does anyone know what this unused connection is for? Is it tied to "always on" power?

I can’t check mine right now, but do you have a meter? You can check for power after pulling the plug.
