Is there a felt bed liner for a split tail gate king ranch

Just bought a 2024 king ranch F150 and tried to buy a bed rug and dealership said it wasn’t compatible. Anyone know what will work?

Wrestled with the same question. I have installed Bed Rug liners on my previous F 150 and F 250. Have 2025 F 150 King Ranch on order. I bought a Bed Rug for $379 online. My plan is to neatly trim (cut) the tailgate portion off the Bed Rug and use Velcro to secure the end between tailgate and bed. Will either tape or if possible melt the exposed edge to prevent a ragged edge. This will allow use of the Pro Access tailgate, and still get full protection for the entire bed.

if you don't desire/need to protect the side walls of the bed, bed rug does make a mat for just the bed.

I bought the ford roll up top and prefer the entire bed with felt as I carry leather stuff in the bed from time to time. I was thinking about cutting it to but was worried about it looking crappy.. I don't see any felt liners out there for the split tail gate so guess I will do the bed rug and try and cut it. where did you buy yours from.. was just looking at Amazon..

I bought mine on Amazon. I think I can get a clean install. Once I cut the square for the onboard power I am going to experiment with the remnant and see if I can cauterize the edges. Worst case scenario is I will tape the cut edge. Planning on running the liner down slightly below the tailgate base and secure with the Velcro so edge won't be visible.

I put one in my 2023 XLT and it fits. Call bed rug.

The actual Bed Rug will fit in the bed. The OP's referring to the tailgate portion that would cover access when the truck is equipped with a Pro Access Tailgate when opening the Pro Access tailgate. I don't think any vendor has addressed this to date.

I ended up with the classic BedRug mat - no extra liner on the tailgate.

It is surprising how often I use the work surface on the tailgate. Not sure that I would cover it, but I recognize that you might come to a different conclusion. The best option so far seems to be starting with the full liner, surgical cutting, and judicious use of Velcro.

Both the foam and the fiber are reportedly polypropylene. A sharp blade should make quick work of at least the foam. I wonder if the fiber would cut easily, though. A hot wire cutter is my next thought, with proper ventilation.
