Is it possible to swap a regular tailgate for a Pro Access Tailgate?

Has anyone tried to swap a regular 2024 Job 1 tailgate for a Pro Access Tailgate? I have a 2024 agate black KR and would like to try to find a PAT to purchase or swap for. I wonder if it is plug and play or would require other modifications. Anyone know?

Looks like it requires a new bed as well due to the additional latch at the end of bed/tailgate interface. Can't upload a pic but easy to find online.

Which additional latch are you talking about? I'm looking at the beds compared with tailgates down and the side latches look the same. I don't see how there could be a latch on the bottom as that would interfere with the tailgate opening.

If the following picture is the latch to which you speak that is attacked to the tailgate itself, not the bed.
