Pro Access Tailgate Bedliner

Finally got my Line-X done. They sprayed further down on the bed, sprayed the tailgate, and sprayed the tailgate structural member (when the PAT door is open).

Spray down the bed - driver's side.

Spray down the bed - passenger's side.

Tailgate sprayed.

PAT door open and sprayed tailgate structural member. (I was a beta test for this and they won't do it again until they can learn how to remove the PAT door from the tailgate when off the truck.)

I was told this would void the warranty on the pro tailgate. Anyone have insight of this. My local company would not do this for me.

Mine wouldn't either but my PPF guy wrapped all those areas for me and looks great. However he said he would triple the price if he had to do it again.

The dealership body shop did my spray in and did the PAT. Didn't say anything about it voiding the warranty.

My dealership knew of my plans before having Line-X install my bedliner, including the PAT. My salesman had his truck done a few months after mine. It was in the body shop two months later to get the missing retractable center step installed.

My warranty is intact.

Shop that sprayed mine month's back said an approved process had not yet been published. - Don't know whether he was referencing a company-based or manufacturer-based process.

Thus, my tailgate has not (yet) been lined. However, they did offer to spray the tailgate free of charge if I brought it back once a process had been published.

Curious how these are looking with the various spay in liners. From the few pics I have seen, there are a few small areas on the tailgate that can use protection. Anyone have any photos of their PAT showing what areas they sprayed, if any?

Yeah had mine sprayed yesterday before I picked it up.

I just got my 2025 bed sprayed yesterday, with the pro access tailgate. It's a local place in Tacoma, WA (Full Metal Jacket) and I asked about spraying the PAT and she assured me they do it. And yes, they did, and yes, it looks great.

There's not a lot of exposed metal there, but they took off all the trim pieces, nuts, etc and sprayed what was there. I mean, I wasn't really expecting them to after reading this thread, but I'm very happy they did. When I have time later I should put up a photo of it.

I'm not sure what product they use for the spray. It's only been < 24 hours since application and to my untrained eye it looks better than the Line-X I had done on my old 2004 Tundra some 21 years back. Texture seems nice without being too rough, seems pretty good to me.

I'm not too rough on my daily driver trucks, saving that for my old '99 F350 with a pretty beat up factory liner or something, peeling here and there at the edges, but it's a work truck and I'm fine with that. If I'm dumping gravel in the back of that, I have an old carpet to absorb it and put a tarp down anyway to make it easier to get the last bits of rock out.

All that to say, I expect it'll go the distance. Decent price too... not sure if this was just a discount from a dealer referral, but it was $549 (+ tax) for my 6.5' bed. I'm not meaning this to sound like a commercial for them but just to say, I called in advance to check on scheduling and they were able to get me in for the next morning. Dropped off at just before 9 AM and they called that it was ready to be picked up at 12:30 PM. Obviously it can vary based on how busy they get, but I figured getting there early would put me at the front of any line.
