After Ford said they denied my request for a buyback/replacement verbally on the phone I asked if they could send me their decision in writing or an email so I know on what grounds it was denied. They refused to do so. I asked to speak to a supervisor to see why they can't send it to me and they told me several time one with call me. I never received a call.

They told me repeatedly I can request arbitration through my state (which I finally did today). I also said my truck issues are still not fixed and asked what do I do now. They had no answer. WTF Ford!!

Since 2015 I have bought 2 King Ranches and a Platinum, I am supposed to pick up my Bronco Wildtrak next week, I have another King Ranch on order that I should get in a couple months, and I have been considering throwing my name in for a Lightning. After this very poor experience Ford may be loosing a good repeat customer. :(
Could you send me your vin so I can look

So I was driving around town yesterday and my truck started having major issues. Check engine light came on along with the traction control, ABS, and some other light that I wasn't sure what it was. Then I got warnings for Blind Spot System Fault, Cross-Traffic System Fault, Pre-Collision Assist Not Available, Service AdvanceTrac, and Reverse Brake Assist Not Available See Manual repeatedly. Also, the power started completely cutting out a couple of times when I accelerated. I immediately drove to the Dealership where it is now. Great day :(
Sounds similar to what others have reported as a failing main 12V battery.

The dealer said they just got a new alignment machine that can help them fix all the software issues. We will see.

In Florida it is 15 days and I have just exceeded that for the 22B08 "customer satisfaction" recall for ECM Recovery. The dealer has tried to contact Ford for the second time. I insisted in Ford Customer Service open an escalated case and promised a call within a day. That was two days ago.

Remember they don't give you anything for non-Ford add-ons (I had a spray-in bed liner and Tonneau cover). Nor do they refund your tax, title, etc. And then they prorate it for the use you got; I don't know if its mileage or age.

Good luck to us all.
What you get depends upon the state you are in. In Virginia, there is a refund of tax, tags and title. There is a deduct for mileage to when the first problem arose. I cannot speak to after market accessories since I just transferred them from one vehicle to another.

Day 52 and counting in service. Waiting on Ford to respond to my Buyback request. They turned me down at 35 days and referred me to arbitration. I'm not sure why they wanted the extra step. See what they say this time.

Day 58 in service and counting and Ford asked for the chance for a final repair. They have already had my truck since the 26th with no end in sight. More games. Ridiculous!

Day 66 in service. Day 31 on this visit alone. Ford has offered to give me one monthly car payment if they can get it fixed and they forced me to go through the BBB Auto Line to get that offer. Dealer is still working on one issue they ordered parts for and hopefully get them in this week. They said once they get that working they hope it will fix everything but still don't know. Ridiculous.

I have a 2022 F-150 Lariat, Ordered it in Dec 16, 2021, received the truck in Arp 18, 2022. As of Today (8/10/2022) the truck has been in the shop for repairs 82 days. Issues were Oil leak (day 1), vibration and rough driving, took 28 days to repair. Vibration issue and rough driving, 12 days in the shop. Vibrations and coolant leaking, 31 days, took it back in the shop for vibrations. I was working with Ford Customer service, up to day 45 in the shop. They did say I do qualify for Lemon Law, and I need to call 800-955-5100, which is the BBB Auto Line. Ford customer services said they would pay be 7,100 for compensation but it is best to try replacement and call the number. I did that, and Ford's first offer was 1,000 compensations. I did say Fuck you Ford, I want Ford to shit me a new truck or give me 70% off of what I would pay for the truck with all fees and financing. I meet with the Sr. Service Tech at the shop, that it is currently at. He and I took it for a test drive and he noted that there is an issue. So I kindly informed customer service about this information supplied by the tech, Ford Customer service said that they cannot help me since I am at BBB Auto Line. As if today Ford want to repurchase the truck. I do not have the price that Ford is willing to pay on the repurchase yet. I did speak with other manufacture dealerships for buying a new Truck that is not a POS. I was being honest to these dealerships, and they do not even want to even use it as trade. I was not going to say anything about supply issues or COVID BS, Ford is the one who brought this up. Per Lemon Law in AL, they have three options, replace, repair and repurchase. The repair would also include some type of compensation. Ford has no replacement for my POS truck, so that is left with repair or repurchase the truck. After speaking with everyone in Service at the shop today they will need Ford's Engineers to help them out on repair the Truck. Ford is refusing this option. If my calculations are correct, Ford will only repurchase this truck for around 55K, The total cost of the truck with extra warranties, bed liner, window Tint, is 89K. They would not cover the warranties and addon's plus minus the miles driven, Current miles are 4,500. If I go with a new truck from a different manufacture, the MSRP would be 73K plus increase in the interested rates are higher now than in Apr. I would end up spending an extra 22K, besides the extras I am out of.

Keep in mind that there are many things going on with our Trucks
1. 2020 and 2021 Trucks sat in lots and have a lot of issues
2. Most of these parts can be replaced on other trucks like 2022
3. Ford's Customer Service is taking about 30 to an hour to get someone on the phone thus they are having increased call volume

I have hired an attorney already and I will keep updates on this and I do feel sorry for the ones who Ford is fucking.

I did finally get my truck back with everything working for the first time since I bought it. Only took 77 days in service. Considering I have only owned the truck for 10 months 77days is a long time. Ford Customer service directed me to the BBB Auto Line. They sent me an offer of once repaired send me 1 months payment, closed the complaint, and I was unable to contact them again. I never accepted anything. They did final get me a rental car the last 5 days. So I did get a lawyer also several weeks ago.

IMHO, it would be cheaper to send out people to get these computer issues fixed ASAP. Train some people how to do this, fly them out, fix it. Customer is happy, dealer is happy, Ford looks good.
