Picked up my 23 supercab 2.7 yesterday. Had a 9k discount off sticker and Ford sent me a 4k cash coupon. So, it was a pretty smokin deal. So far I generally like it. I traded a 22 Frontier so I miss the push button start and the lower step in height - I'll probably need to get some side steps. I had a 18 F150 and the 10 sp trans was so bad I traded it after 6 mo. This truck is much better. The Sync 4 is awesome compared to the 10 yr old junk that Nissan uses. My Pixel connects instantly to android auto and displays maps and spotify. Soo nice. It's a great looking truck.

Hello all,

Long time lurker (about 2 years), finally decided to join. I am on my third F150, I had a 2017 and a 2019 (I'm on my third lease).

When this lease is close to being up, in a little over a year from now, I am considering ordering my next truck. I'm torn between a Powerboost or the 5.0. My first two leases had the 5.0, and my current one has the 2.7. I miss the V8 rumble and the amazing power of the 5.0 on the upper rpm band. But I like the awesome acceleration of the Powerboost (I have test driven one), and having a built in generator. I would definitely opt for the 7.2 kw. The 430 horsepower and 570 ft lbs of torque sure is nice!

Anyway, I still have time to think about it. And reading all the pros and cons of each on this forum has me well informed. But it doesn't make the decision any easier!

Hi all,

Never owned a Ford, I used to own a 2007 Toyota Tundra RCSB 4x2 which I sold recently. Needed a replacement RCSB to pair with my 1993 Single cab Toyota pickup. Any Truck I buy had to be a V8 so only choice let for me is a 2024 XL RCSB, which I just ordered and will be eagerly waiting for it to be delivered. Reading through this forum suggests I will really enjoy the V8 Single cab.

I will be mostly using the truck to tow my kids track cars to their track days.

Hi, I'm Matt. I just ordered a 2024 Avalanche Crew cab, 5.0, XLT 302A, Max Tow, Black Package Plus. It's scheduled to build the first week of June. This is my 4th F150 but first 5.0. The rest of them were all 3.5 EcoBoost but I wanted to do something different this time.
I'm already planning to add the OEM bed lights and Lariat heated steering wheel and have the BedRug and tonneau cover that I'll be re-using from my 2018 Lariat.

Hi from Mississippi, I am Alvin. I have always owned Chevrolet/GMC trucks, three of them thus far. A few years ago I bought a 2016 Ford Fusion S to drive to work. I was in the market for a new(er) truck and wanted something different. My dad has a 2013 F150 4x4 and I really liked it so...Two weeks ago I bought a 2021 F150 Supercrew XLT 4x4, 5.0L (group 302A) with 46,000 miles on it. So far I love it! By far the nicest truck I've ever owned. I was looking for a good Ford truck forum and found this one so I went ahead and registered. I haven't done anything to it yet other than order a set of Weathertech Floorliner HP mats for the front and back.

I saw this thread after posting an intro thread already: https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/threads/new-to-the-ford-family.24285/

Anyways, I am enjoying this F150 since I picked it up. I live up in British Columbia and will be using the truck for my hunting trips and towing the odd trailer tow (I own a few old Harleys that seem to need a trailer ride home from time to time); otherwise my wife will claim it as her daily driver for her short commute to work. Looking forward to being a part of some conversations here on the forum.

2024 F150 XL
Hey guys, I am a new 2024 F150XL owner from East Texas. I have had many fords though the years. My last was a 2020 Raptor. This F150 is my latest edition and hopefully it will stay around the house a while.
At 58, I have had all kinds of cars and trucks though the years from Corvette and Trans Ams to lifted F250's and a TRX.
After all of these, I wanted something simple and fun to drive to keep for a while. My wife and I don't need a four door truck at home and I have a 4 door company truck to use any time.
With all that said, about three months ago I started wanting to build a hot rod single cab truck.
The GM trucks were out because of the lack of a V8 motor.
I decided on a Ford F150XL with a 5.0 engine and after a long search, I picked it up yesterday. My son and I drove 300 miles one way to trade my 2023 Colorado ZR2 on my new project. It has a great start, but I will add many improvements.
So far, I am impressed with the power. The rear suspension of the lowered truck sucks, but I already ordered some fixes for that. Anyway we drove 300 miles back home between 80mph to 85mph and averaged 20MPG on the trip.
I hope to learn more about my new ride and participate when I can.
Thanks

Really glad to have found this community. 1st time ford owner here, had a 1st gen ecodiesel Longhorn Laramie (deleted, no issues up to 200k) The old Fiat motor was getting some age on her and expensive af to work on so I decided to get a new work rig on short notice. Family member who works at a dealer (not Ford) had this truck 15k miles so I gave it a shot without seeing it. Hated fords from when I drove the work trucks but I have to admit this rig is pretty sweet. I run about 30-40k miles a year for work and need a visually “quiet” truck, so she’s being built accordingly.

2022 Lariat Powerboost, carbonized gray, BAP, few a la cart upgrades. Not looking to do much to engine, this thing has plenty of power for me and it seems pretty finicky anyway. LED side vent/badge lights and heated steering wheel will be up next to do. Any comments or tips would be greatly appreciated.

And yes, that is a custom tactical electrical tape rain guard for the backup cam. The placement on them is just horrible. But that’s a story for another post lol, anyway great to be here and looking forward to learning some new stuff!

2024 Ford F-150 STX SuperCrew 5.0L V8
Afternoon all, new to this forum. Made my way back to Ford after a few years away and am glad I did. Just recently purchased a new 2024 F-150 STX SuperCrew with the 5.0L V8. Just got the Armor All coating applied, undercoating done, and it goes in this Thursday for a spray in bedliner. Now, trying to decide what I want to put on for a tonneau cover.

Hello everyone,
Just traded my Durango R/T for a 2024 150 4x4 rcsb. New ford driver but not new to Ford as I spent several years as a senior Master Tech before moving to the management side of things.
Anyhow, here’s a pic of my truck, I did a muffler delete and peeled the 4x4 stickers off the first day
