Iconic Silver 2021 F-150 Lariat 3.5EB 4X4
Hi Steve here made my first post in Silver thread but want to introduce myself here too.
This my new 2021 Lariat 3.5 EB 4x4. w/500a package. Was pretty set on Silver and Iโ€™m happy this one popped up locally. Going to get the windows tinted and LineX the bed this week.
Iโ€™m coming from a 2015 Tacoma V6 2wd SR5. It was a great truck but I havenโ€™t thought twice about it since picking up my new F150 ?
Steve

Traded in my 2017 3.5l eco boost XLT for a used 2021 Lariat with the coyote 5.0 that had 4K miles on it. literally Had all of the options I wanted to order so I pulled the trigger instead of waiting for a build.

unfortunately, has some issues. Hoping theyโ€™re an easy fix, or Iโ€™m going to take it in over and over until they have to lemon law me a new one.

Repeat Ford offender here. I've had 3 F250's, and one F150 (2014) before this one. By far the finest vehicle I've ever owned.

2022 Platinum Powerboost with 701A in Carbonized Gray.

Hello, I am in Concord NC spent the last 5 years in a Tundra which was very good to me. New ride is a 21 STX 5.0. I have 4300 miles no issues so far. Just came upon a set of Raptor wheels/tire takeoffs. Debating on which lift/level to go with. Familiar with 5100's just trying to find them for a 21. Anyway look forward to learning from everyone here.
Thanks for having me
Tony

Howdy all yโ€™all,
Been lurking here for a few months, tried to sign up before the new year but couldnโ€™t for some reason, but today it worked.
Im a new truck owner again after a 20 year break, just couldnโ€™t live without a payment I suppose, had a few 150โ€™s, but this one is way beyond what I remember.
Iโ€™ll be asking some questions, some probably basic, to the users on what is being used in this new generation of trucks.
Will post up pics when my account allows.

Hey there, guess I've been lurking here for a few weeks and should say hi. Placed an order with Granger for a lariat, with minimal options. Now its a waiting game for which gets here first, truck or camper.

2019 lariat chrome 3.5 - 2022 lariat sport 3.5
hello from ohio... awaiting space white 502a sport/20/3.5 currently in a white 19 lariat high 3.5- love this truck, afraid its gonna be hard to top... didnt realize the 22 sport interior was gonna be brown/black when wanting 'black'getting used to that, and no powered running boards will take some getting used to- but the lane centering, 360 cameras, towing stuff will be cool... the old one has the glass roof, wont miss it as ive only ever opened it once or twice, yet always gotta worry about stone chips/leaks/etc
hope to read a lot of info in here while waiting:) Tim

Hello all,
Long time Tundra owner but at the end of January ordered and put a down payment on a 2022 F150 Lariat. Went with Atlas Blue, 3.5 powerboost, Lariat high, FX4, and black out package. Hopefully I'll get it sometime in the next 6 months.

Just bought a used 20 XLT Sport SCREW with the 3.5 Ecoboost last week with 8500 miles on it. My last three new trucks were Rams(2015,2017 and 2021) sold the 21 to Vroom last year and made a hefty profit and drove and old GMC for awhile. Got a wild hair for a newer F150 about a month ago and starting looking and here we are.

2019 lariat chrome 3.5 - 2022 lariat sport 3.5
Hello all,
Long time Tundra owner but at the end of January ordered and put a down payment on a 2022 F150 Lariat. Went with Atlas Blue, 3.5 powerboost, Lariat high, FX4, and black out package. Hopefully I'll get it sometime in the next 6 months.
I saw a atlas blue sport lariat last night at the dealer- honestly it looked better than the space white sport next to it- the bright blue/black had always been a thing for me, kinda regretting space white. they are all beautiful vehicles, but sometimes without seeing them first pictures tell a difference.

I absolutely love my 19 lariat in 'platinum white' i think its called/all black interior... last night my oldest son traded in his leased 19 xlt for a 19 lariat almost identical to mine, but silver/fx4... he had liked my truck so bad he went and got one too, not realizing the xlt stuff was so reduced... he got what he wanted last night...

now i'm torn between letting go of my 19 or adding another payment for 5-6 years...just afraid the new one-no doubt it will be a great truck- wont have that 'love it' thing that hit me with the 19... the chrome/powered running boards/all black interior, just cant imagine a better pkg... the space white looks cool, the brown/black dash is upscale/the 20"black wheels are cool...but its all gonna have to grow on me. i am weird, one of those 'fear change' types maybe, have had matching mustangs/marquis over the years just because I loved the first ones so much, replaced with close to the same...

already looked into adding powered running boards to the new one-if it ever shows up- maybe changing wheels to something not all black, and rwl tires... sometimes I hate that I love certain vehicles so much. almost wishing had ordered star white/chrome/black, or atlas black w/boards...oddly red and space white cannot be ordered with black trim and powered boards.

first world problems - eh? it is cool though that ford could build such addictive vehicles. the 3.5 with the fake engine noise is such a great powerplant, reminders of the good old days with the bigblocks for sure. my son was so happy last night- he helped drive my lariat to colorado a couple years ago, and after in it a week, hated his xlt 3.5 when he got home- said stupid as it seems, the engine sound just added so much to the feeling... ford shoulda put that in all the 3.5s- know a lot of folks didnt care for it, but those who dd might have just bought another truck over it.

that 3.5 is amazing isnt it? never woulda dreamed the old school bigblock feel would ever return- especially with a 6! only 'bad' thing about the 3.5, towing a little enclosed trailer in tow mode kills mpg severely compared to the V8. son got 23-24 in his 3.5 sport highway, towing the trailer out west it logged a whopping 12 mpg...think a 5.0 woulda done much better, but the power feels totally different. the 5.0 is a powerhouse too, but torque is both 20% lass and at near double the rpm... the off idle/no-muss/no-fuss grunt of the 3.5 is better than the strongest bigblock i ever had(1969 429/4v) by far...insane how smooth they are. only other 'thing' about the 3.5- they must be fitted loose as hell compared to a lot of motors- they make a lot of noise from outside...piston slap/something...my 06 mustang has always sounded bad too, think its just a lack of damping with aluminum engines, my mustang at light throttle has always sounded darn near like a rod knock at light throttle on hills especially...the 3.5 of mine and the now 3 others in the son's trucks all sound the same...
