New here, coming 1 ton life to my first F150 a year ago(19 5.0), now into a 24 PB S.crew XLT. Didn't take but 48hrs to get pulled over in her. First impression are great with this thing. I love the 360 cams, and the PB has plenty of HP to make me happy. Funny 5 years ago I said I'd never go away from a diesel, then never go away from a V8... Here I am now in a PB lol. Pickup is bone stock except for one size up in shoes, and a handful of forscan mods. Next on my list is getting a deer bumper on it, enough of leveling kit I can toss a set of chains up front, and getting the windows tinted.

2022 F150 XLT FX4 3.5
Hi, all. Thought I had an account here as I'm mainly a lurker but guess not. Figured time to introduce myself. We have a 2022 F150 XLT with the 3.5. Love the truck, just hit around 41k miles this week. We bought it new after my 21 was totaled and saved my life. Self admitted Ford fanboy. My wife took this picture shortly after buying the truck. We've kept it fairly stock, only have a UnderCover Swing Case, Line-X and BAKFlip MX4 Tonneau Cover.

Here's a picture of my 21. Loved that truck too, but it did its job and saved me from a nasty wreck (guy fell asleep at the wheel and hit me dead on).

Fun story about the accident, I held onto the steering wheel so tightly I ripped it out of the console. First responders (who were amazing) told me that they've never seen that before.

Hello all, I'm Brian. I've been a Mustang guy my whole life and currently own two, a 2017 Ecoboost convertible and a 2021 Shelby GT500. While I've owned a vehicle from every major car manufacturer I've tended to gravitate towards Fords. My wife has always wanted a Jeep but I convinced her to get a Bronco instead so we'll be shopping for one of those in the spring. For myself, I appreciate a truck's utility but I just never had a need for one.

But, times change and so do opinions. I've been looking into F-150s for a bit and I dare say I've grown a little in my needs and desires. I won't be getting rid of the Shelby as it's my baby, but the convertible just doesn't move me like I thought it would. Don't get me wrong, having a convertible is nice (especially since I live in Florida), but it feels redundant to have two Mustangs. In comes the desire to upgrade to something more utilitarian.

I'm shopping the F-150 Lariat trim but I'm still trying to decide if I want the 5.0 Coyote (which I had in my previous 2016 Mustang GT) or the 3.5 Ecoboost/Powerboost. My work commute is about 50 minutes so the 3.5 wins on the MPG debate, but there's just something about a truck and a V8. I'm a modifier and I know both platforms have plenty of potential for more power. It may just come down to how I feel when I drive each one. It won't be a tow rig or off-roader and I plan to lower it on a Ride Tech suspension (or similar) to make it easier for me and wife to get in and out.

Long story short, I'm happy to be here and look forward to learning as much as I can before I make my decision. Thanks!

-Brian

Good luck with a fun decision! I went with a Lariat PowerBoost and couldn't be happier. If that 50 minute commute you have involves some rolling hills and any 30-50 mph driving, take a close look at the PB -- you might be in for some great mileage.

Thanks! My commute is flat. I live in NW Florida and there's no such things as hills here lol. But, I do like to travel so the extra MPG could come in use.

2026 F150 XLT
Hello all, I just ordered a 2026 F150 XLT 5.0, expecting delivery in January. XLT Black Accent plus, 36 gallon tank, 302 equipment, tow/haul package, spray liner, floor liner tray, fender lingers and, I'm sure some will laugh, the illuminated front Ford logo and tailgate logo.

My plan is the Makflip MX4 tonneau cover, FP Boral Atak rear exhaust (cat back), window tint.

Any other suggestions? Anything to expect? I have owned trucks my whole life but this is my first F150 and second Ford (I have a 21 Mustang GT).

What color did you go with? I’m probably going to get a Ruby Red Lariat
