That happened to me when I first got the truck. It stopped after I plugged in the backup assist sensor to test. It’s been working ever since. Don’t know if one has anything to do with the other but the beg camera has worked now for a year and a half.

How frequently has it happened to you. Two things at play. One it could be the camera. Two the IPMA. The cargo cam is the only non coax camera in the system. So when the IPMA switches to the Cargo cam it switches inputs and there will always be a flash of blue before the picture shows. Its analog. Mine did it one time. For one trip. I got back in and it never happened again. MOST likely if its consistant it would be the camera. Very unlikely the IPMA is bad.

Also, check your voltage. My navigation and camera have acted weird if the truck hasn’t been driven in a while and I make a few short drives.

Once, I lost my dynamic lane lines for a few key cycles; though that could have also been because of reversing with the tailgate down.

Just another thing to check. A local Mercedes dealership diagnosed an S-Class with a malfunctioning radio as needing a replacement to the tune of $5K but it turned out to be the lead acid 12V accessory battery in the trunk that needed to be swapped out.
