Instrument cluster screen frozen

I have a 2023 XL Powerboost. It has the smaller screen on the instrument cluster. Last night while driving with the EV coach screen on, that screen froze. The odometer stopped climbing, temperature stays the same. It doesn't show the gears changing. Pressing buttons doesn't change the screen but they do seem to operate. If I turn on cruise control, it works even though it does not indicate so on the frozen screen. Same with drive modes. I can change the drive mode but I can't see what drive mode I'm in on the screen. Turning the truck off and back on didn't change anything. It just starts back up on the frozen screen. I have Ford looking at it today but I'm curious if anyone else has had an issue like this.

Update: Ford mobile tech couldn't figure out what was wrong but was able to reset it by disconnecting all of the batteries. They said if it happens again, I'll have to bring it in so they can figure out why it's happening. And they are going to let Ford know that this might be an issue.

I have a 2021 F150. Starting on a drive yesterday, I am having the same problem. Odometer is frozen. Speed is always 29. Temp is always 87. gear is always 6 out of 10. Everything else seems to work as it should. Does anyone know more about this issue.

If key cycling doesn't unfreeze it, I'd use Forscan to reset the IPC module?

Cycling the key did not help. I disconnected the negative battery cable for a half hour while I mowed the lawn. Then I hooked the battery back up. The problem was gone, and my lawn looks great. If this problem only occurs every 46,000 miles I will live with it.

Exact same thing just happened to me. 2023 F150 XL and digital speedometer is stuck on 35 mph, no steering wheel buttons work, blinkers aren’t flashing. The D in the transmission display is also lit even when truck is turned off. Brand new truck only 6k miles.

Yeah, after they disconnected all of my batteries the problem hasn't happened again. I'm at 20k miles now. So have them try that. Maybe just a fluke.

The odometer stopped climbing, temperature stays the same. It doesn't show the gears changing. Pressing buttons doesn't change the screen but they do seem to operate. If I turn on cruise control, it works even though it does not indicate so on the frozen screen. Same with drive modes. I can change the drive mode but I can't see what drive mode I'm in on the screen. Turning the truck off and back on didn't change anything. It just starts back up on the frozen screen. If I disconnect my battery will I need to reset anything on the main settings? Has Ford found out what would be causing this?

There are 3 different batteries that would need disconnected. I didn't know how to disconnect the two that are not in the engine bay so I had ford do it. Even the tech had to look up how to do it. It's been a while but I think all I had to do afterward was reset my settings on both the center screen and the instrument cluster.

No cruise, digital at 39, tranny @ 8
29,000 miles on my truck
Multiple main screen link up with iPhone issues the last year too

if I disconnect the main battery negative for 10 minutes will this do it?

I'm not sure about the 10 minutes. Since you have the coyote and not the powerboost, maybe. I have the powerboost, so they had 3 batteries to disconnect. I would definitely give it a shot. Also, for me, it happened very early in my miles. Maybe under 1,000. Can't remember now. But I'm at 33k now and it hasn't happened since.
