Ok before I get the Generac 6852 installed I have some questions. I didn’t necessarily see these asked or answered or I just didn’t understand the response (most likely).
Had an electrician come out to quote. He said 3.5 hours for install (I’m thinking it will take longer…) and also included a 40 amp breaker.
What is this for and why wouldn’t it be 30 amp?
I already have the switch and will also get the power inlet box and cord myself.
I decided to get a soft start for my AC. Went with a Microair sized for my 3.5 ton AC. The LRA is 77.
Any chance the 7.2 PPOB will work with this?
Will the AC take up two of the 8-10 circuits or just one?
Assuming it will work, do I need to balance the loads so for example not put the fridge on the same load as the AC?
If the AC load is close to max for the truck, could I simply switch off the other circuits when I intend to run AC?
I might have more questions based on the feedback.
Thanks!
