I drive a twin turbo variable valve timing dual injection truck. The only octane option there is for me is the most octane available at the fuel station. My favorite being 4 gallons of E85 blended with 26 gallons of 93.Both you guys apparently don't enjoy octane options. ?
It’s more about handling and feel, at least for me.No reason to increase tire pressure as the two rear tires are not the payload (including trailer hitch) limitation with a 1500 class pickup.
So not to be a Richard Cranium and in the spirit of Stephen Covey " seek to understand ", I don't get what you're trying to tell me. The tires on my truck are LRD and BFG states 48 psi. Now, likely with the roads here in Western Maine in rough shape due to pot holes and frost heaves after a very cold winter, I didn't notice any change in ride comfort going from 35 psi to 48 psi. What am I missing? Those are D rated tires -- E rated are around 45psi for F150 mass whereas the 275/65/20s E can be run at 40 psi in the 150.
You'd the threads on the Ranger5g forum about single piece drive shaft and tail gate damper.Tires/pressure, towing/Payload capacity, and oil. ???
By far my favorite reads on a forum.
