Illuminated Ford Front Emblem Option

I can't find anything about the illuminated emblem option that's on the F-150 configurator.
Is it a Putco Luminix? Is the factory one different? (hopefully better looking).
I'm concerned they'll look weird when not lit. I can't tell if this is a good consideration or not.

IMHO this would be something I would need to see in person before I pulled the trigger. Does it have an ability to dim it if you find it glaring bright or obnoxious?

Not sure about the pricing on Ford's website compared to Putco's site but Ford is normally higher. Also unless something has changed in the last month or two, the one you order from Putco has a "startup sequence" vs Ford's just lights up. Don't think they're blinding bright but definitely see it in daytime.

I just checked putco and ford and the pricing difference is 292$ vs 322$ honestly it's not a big deal due to getting the front and back you get a 15% off at my dealership which is cheaper than putco. So you just have to find what is best for your area.

I ordered a Putco on rockauto - it was cheap when I got it (like $175). Installed on my ‘23 and love it.

Did you install it to the ignition or the parking lights as the instructions said? I originally did parking lights and it wouldn't work as my parking lights wasn't on when driving. So I moved it to ignition with no issues. But they are nice aren't they lol
