I need to vent about Ford Accessories! AGAIN!!

I’ve posted a few small rants in a few post there and there but I’m at my wits end. I’ve spent too much time making pointless phone calls and talking to people who absolutely don’t give a crap about the loss of patience I have. @Ford Motor Company

Back on November 5, 2022, I placed an order for the BAP front and rear emblems. The money came out my account and the badges shipped next day. They arrived in 2 days (11/7/22)…but arrived broke. Spoke with Ford Accessories and was sent a return label. I sent the package back with tracking. Package went out 11/10/22 and was received by their return dept on 11/15/22

Ford Acc said I should have new badges in 7-10 business days…I never hear another word.

I called 12/1/22 and was told that I needed to factor in the holidays and that they’ll be shipped out soon.

Called 12/12/22 and was told they have no idea why nothing has shipped. That they’ll look into it.

Called 12/19/22 and was told they haven’t shipped new badges. I ask why? Was told they don’t know. I then said this line…”you have my money, either send me the parts or give my money back.” They agreed they would do a refund.

Called 12/28/22 about the refund. Well my card I used expired in the middle of this escapade. So now they can’t give me a refund. Ummm ok. Send me new parts. “Sir, you asked for a refund” so now they won’t send parts bc I asked for a refund but they can’t give me a refund bc the card used is no longer valid. They said they would need to look into it.

Called 1/9/23 about refund. Was told they needed to “escalate” my case bc they still have no answer.

Called 1/16/23 about refund. Was told they needed to “escalate” my case again. Said a check should have been issued.

Called 1/23/23 about the refund. Said no check was issued and that my case needs to be “escalated” I straight lost it! I didn’t get belligerent but I let everyone know how I felt!

Called 1/30/23 and was told that my return never processed and bc it hasn’t processed, a refund can not be processed. Was told this is something that happens often and shouldn’t be an issue to fix. Said a supervisor would call.

Called 2/6/23 and was told they are still processing the refund. Umm ok. On 2/7/23 a manager called saying they were working on a refund override.

Called 2/13/23 and was told they are still looking into the refund. I explained what the “supervisor” who called said and they claim it’s in their notes.

Called 2/20/23 and was told they can’t reach the processing facility so they can’t process a refund. I asked for a manager to call me and it’s been nothing but crickets.

Ford needs to step in at this point but their customer service said they can’t help either

Call your financial institution let them know so they can put the funds back and ding Ford on the back end. The financial institution might need the shipping labels/confirmations/email transactions to support your claim of a 'fraudulent' dealing. I wouldn't even mention about the card expiring. Good luck!

Dealing with a similar issue from parts.ford.com. The product was damaged during shipping, since I ordered it from parts.ford.com and had it delivered to my house the dealership said there was nothing they could and call Ford. Even though the email with the return info said take it to the dealership. I called Ford and they said I have to take it to the dealership...so I took it back there and gave my phone to the dealership parts guy to talk to the parts.ford.com person. He agreed to take it back but I still have not gotten a refund...they told me it can take up to 30 days but I have a case number. If it doesn't happen by day 31 I'm calling the credit card company and Ford can deal with them.

yeah i went full tilt this morning. i just got off of chat with ford accessories. decided to give that a shot over calling.

same ol song and dance. so i filed a BBB complaint, i filed a dispute with my bank though i should have done that sooner. I know $155 may be chump change to some but its my hard earned money. i paid them for emblems and almost 4 months late, i dont have any emblems or money

I filed a complaint with my credit card company this morning. They refunded me instantly...I was surprised. I like the option to order from parts.ford.com but heck if you make returns impossible then is not worth it.

i want to bring this back to the top...

ordered a tremor skid plate on 3/31. used ford points and a 20% discount and got a hell of a deal on the skid plate. finally bought it b/c i hit an animal and my motorized lip bit the dust...
flash forward to Monday 4/22. I reached out to Ford Accessories to ask why my order hasnt shipped and what "released" meant.

I got told they have "no idea" why my order hasnt shipped. I asked if the item was on back order and was told that it didnt show it was. Reason i called was because I was charged on 3/31 and then refunded on 4/2. Well, my card was charged on 4/19 but my order didnt update.

Long story short, out of no where yesterday my order was straight up canceled!!!! I got an email saying that the item is out of stock in all warehouses but i should contact my local ford dealer to place an order. Sounds like i was getting too good a deal and my order was canceled...b/c i doubt i can use a 20% code at the ford service dept.

this is the second time out of 3 orders that ford accessories has been the absolute worst to deal with...so now, i'm without a tremor skid plate.

Can you order the parts through fordparts.com through a local dealership? They should accept your FordPass points as well.
i probably can. just sucks b/c i doubt i will get the extra 20% off haha
If ford accessories doesnt have it in stock, i wonder if ford parts has it to begin with. guess i'll have to look
