So I was driving on the freeway in the exit only lane getting off at the next exit. I was next to a tractor trailer and some idiot on a Harley decides he wants to split lanes between us at 40+ mph. Now I didn’t see him because why would I be looking at my mirror when first there is a semi next to me and also I’m in the exit only lane. Anyways he gets right up next to my window before I notice him and hits my tow mirror and basically loses control of the bike. Only for a second but hits my brand new truck?. So I pull over and he does also but as soon as I get out he takes off! Didn’t get to see his plate. So now I have I dent in the door. So pissed. What the hell has happen to our society. This wasn’t a cheap bike. He obviously has money but now I am stuck with the repair. Sorry to rant but needed to let this out. Wth!
OMG, that sucks! I hate that for you. Now your brand new truck has to go to shop. This nation has turned into the place where respect and patience has gone to die. Nobody gives a rat's ass about their fellow man anymore. I don't understand. But now I have yet another reason to get a high quality dash cam system (front and back) for BB.

I never did get around to checking the lug nuts torque. Well, today I did. Most of them were fine, but one wheel required all of the lug nuts to be torqued.

If you have not checked, may be a good thing to do so. Hope you have a metric set! I believe it was a 21mm that fit best. (I was just going through the case until I found one that fit)

@Blackout150 How are the repairs coming along? I hope you are being taken care of.

My truck has developed two gremlins. The wipers give me a "courtesy" wipe when I start it (even though that feature is turned off) and the running boards will not stay up when parked. I checked for an obstruction but cannot find anything. I have not been entirely successful with the kick button, but it will stay up if I lock it.
Most of the settings seemed to have gone back to default today after using the remote start feature.
These are the things that I was concerned with before I bought the truck. There was nothing wrong with my previous one.

So I haven’t had a shop look at it yet. Been super busy. I did have some weird bugs the first few months. Truck would reset stuff all the time. Erased all of my music stations once and kept shutting of my wifi. I just got the latest update 4.2.1. Haven’t had any issues since then. Seems as if they fixed those issues. What version are you running now? I hope you don’t have persistent problems.

I am still on 3.5.4. Hopefully 4A will be coming out soon.
I still need to take it in and have the door adjusted, but like you, to busy with other things.
I did get to use the bed outlets today. Very handy.
A little confused on how they are supposed to work. I need to read up some more.

I finally hooked up my trailer up to the outlets. It did have a little learning curve but very cool. Also used at work a couple times now. Ran a 5” grinder with no problems

Hey @SunnyD. Any update on what’s going on with your truck?
Hello @Blackout150! I had family visiting, so I hadn't been on here. When I left Florida last Friday, the dealership was still waiting on the part, so home to Michigan I went. The dealership in Jacksonville has been great, but communication from Ford Customer Service has been a struggle. The dealership wasn't hearing from them either. My case manager never answers, and no one else seemed to be able to step in and take over. They would just "add notes to my file". I was trying to get my truck home, but nothing was getting done. On the bright side, the part finally came in on Wednesday, so my truck is fixed. I finally heard back from my case manager yesterday, and my truck was supposed to be put on a transport today to head to Michigan. This is all arranged by Ford Corporate. But...my contact at the dealership called me about 3pm and said no one showed to pick my truck up. In theory, Ford has been great - the long term rental and transport home, but my case manager was never available and call back requests would go unanswered for days, only returned after I would speak to another representative and request a supervisor, which by the way, I was told, they "can't transfer my call to a supervisor" Anyway...the way things have went, I wasn't surprised to hear my truck hadn't moved. Hopefully it gets picked up Monday. I'll keep you posted.

Thanks for the update! This is crazy that it takes so long for parts now. I’m glad you made it home safe and hopefully your truck will next week. Shipping woes all over again?. It’s like a bad dream

So, I noticed something this weekend. (Sorry in advance for pointing it out)

The truck does not have fender flares. I knew something always looked off, but I assumed it was the tires.

My last two trucks had factory flares. I know I can add them, but I guess that is something else that had to go ?

I might be the odd man out here, but I prefer no tacked on flares. to me its just another place for crud to get trapped and cause damage.

No right way, no wrong way, just our own opinions. I see your point though. They can collect stuff. I used to get pine straw in mine and they made a hell of a racket on the interstate.

I'm with you on this one. I do not like the "black plastic" look around the wheels of any vehicle. Now if it was some pronounced flare to guard the truck while you are off roading, that is different, but just for looks, no. Give me the nice painted fender without the plastic every time.

Small issue. Had truck into dealer for wiper motor recall. Must be a dandy of a job. They cracked my windshield replacing the motors. New glass installed all is good for now. Has been awful quiet in here. Guess everyone is enjoying driving around!!

That stinks about the windshield. Hopefully they put it back together without issues (ie wind noise)

I agree, it has been quiet.

The latest thing I found that was kind of cool, when the truck is in 4 wheel drive, the power display will actually show the batter pack powering the front wheels. Not necessary, but cool.
