I finally got an update! I got 3.5.3.2. I just wanted to check in on my truck as it sits at the dealership and FordPass passed along the good news. and then it went into sleep mode.

So I was driving on the freeway in the exit only lane getting off at the next exit. I was next to a tractor trailer and some idiot on a Harley decides he wants to split lanes between us at 40+ mph. Now I didn’t see him because why would I be looking at my mirror when first there is a semi next to me and also I’m in the exit only lane. Anyways he gets right up next to my window before I notice him and hits my tow mirror and basically loses control of the bike. Only for a second but hits my brand new truck?. So I pull over and he does also but as soon as I get out he takes off! Didn’t get to see his plate. So now I have I dent in the door. So pissed. What the hell has happen to our society. This wasn’t a cheap bike. He obviously has money but now I am stuck with the repair. Sorry to rant but needed to let this out. Wth!

Sorry that happened. You waited forever and, well it just sucks. Society has lost its mind when it comes to other people stuff. It's like they were born without a care in the world about anything or anyone. Just sad

Some lady smashed the crap out of a brand new Audi last week when I was out to dinner. Ran into it twice. After the first hit I started recording and got the second impact on camera with the plate. She drove off as I expected so I left my # on the Audi windshield and then forwarded her the pictures of her vehicle being hit and the damage (white paint) all over the other car. She put me down as the witness in the police report.

It is really sad. I mean his bike was really nice. But since it was his fault he just took off. What drives me crazy is that if I was on that bike I would have never tried to fit between us. Just for my own self preservation. To be honest when he hit me I was sure he was going under the semi. I don’t even get how he even stayed up

I ride a 2020 Harley. Love my bike. My wife and I ride all over the country in the summer. I have been in 30 states so far. I guess I ride different. I stay away from all avoidable places and spaces where this can happen. That biker gives riders a bad name. Like I said no conscience. I could never leave the seen of an accident. My momma raised me right !!!

I see it every time I ride. Some crazy rider doing dumb stuff. Road rage, crazy drivers. Common Sense has left the building.

Get a dashcam. I just got one for both my truck and my wife’s. There are too many idiots on the road. Sucks that you gotta get it fixed after waiting so long because of a reckless fool.

Instead of progressing, civilization seems to be regressing (and not in a good way).

It seems as though the majority of people are all about themselves without regards to others.

@Blackout150, sorry you had to bear it this time. It just sucks and I know how you feel. I had someone sideswipe me when I had 3000 miles on my 2010. It makes you sick.

Hopefull you can get it fixed quickly and correctly.

Well guys, I had my faith in Ford Corporate restored some today, Chip from Granger gave me a Customer Service number. I called, they took down all my information and assigned me a case number, yay - many of us have been down that road before. But, a few hours later my case manager called, said she has been in contact with the dealership in Jacksonville, and is working with them to expedite the repair. She also confirmed that I have the rental as long as it's needed, including driving back to Michigan. If the part isn't available before I head home, they will transport my F150 back to Michigan to have the repair completed at a local dealership of my choosing. Now I can relax and enjoy the rest of my trip!

How cool is that? Ford making right by a customer? Hopefully the part comes in. But it's cool that you can relax knowing your truck gets fixed and you and it get home. Nice. I'm glad you get a month of sun during the winter!
