I can’t believe I have to ask this but I cannot seem to get this done.

The outlet covers, my 240V outlet cover, the blue gasket to seal out water and dust, it is not properly seated. So the cover doesn’t seal properly.

Is there a trick to get it back in its groove? I push and it won’t go into the channel. I have no idea what I’m doing wrong here.

I would think warranty...the whole thing might need replacing.

I know. I’m laughing thinking I might have to go in for this.

Will tackle again tomorrow. It cannot be this hard

If you break it... you might not be able to get warranty... I would let them do it... as much as it would bother me. I did take my truck in for some things after I got it... I could have fixed. The price of these trucks...hell.. let them fix it ...earn their money...:crackup:

Finally got this back in place lying on my back with a headlamp on.

It isn't super complicated but it doesn't just press in the groove either. The gasket has little slots in it that have to fit on the 4 "teeth" of the plastic cover. You almost have to press and stretch and bend the gasket to get those teeth into the rubber slots, bending it a bit strangely to get it all done.

It was actually easiest to just pull the gasket completely off, line up one of the slots, get it in place, and work around from there.

Probably just being too gentle with it and that's why I had such a difficult time.
