How To Disable Proximity Sensor Door Unlock?

So you walk up to the truck with your key fob in your pocket. Grab either front door handle and it senses your fob and unlocks the door automatically. Can this be turned off? I don't want it unlocking anything automatically, not the doors, tailgate, nothing. The only time it should unlock is if I physically hit the unlock button on the fob. This is an issue if you get accosted by a stranger in a parking lot.

My doors dont unlock unless i fit my hand in the handle . Its actually annoying that i cant make it do that actually with the PROX sensor . why not ?

that’s 99% of the cars with push button start out there.. unless i misunderstood your context.

You have to be right next to the door for it to work. It only unlocks the driver door if you have it set that way. If they are able to move you enough to get you away from the door after they unlock it, I don’t see why they couldn’t move you enough to get your keys from you and unlock it themself.
