How long from order to build to delivery currently?

People I know that are running to the dealerships to get the employee pricing are now being told to order them. I know my purchasing dealership reduced the orders for themselves. Economy isn't good around here everybody's laying off. They said that should speed up the custom orders. Within the last month here in metro Detroit we went from pretty much having every trim level available to "you're going to need to order that". If that is true then you would see a quicker build time.

And even be ready for a huge depreciation value hit. The 24s aren't worth shit anymore, and the 25s will be right behind them if ford. keeps giving them away.

I know they're also seeing a influx of people leasing. People are too afraid to buy as the used car market is crashing.

So right now for the people that "need" a truck this is the best time to buy. So I would order away and be patient.

I am guessing you don't have the spray in bedliner on your order sheet? Mine is "in production" since more than a week!

My F-150 had a scheduled production week of 4/28. It was built, completed and shipped on 5/1. It hasn't been delivered to my dealer yet. The Ford order tracking seems to be down this morning. It said it couldn't find my VIN. ??

I had the same, site said my order number and vin didn’t match any orders. Mine wasn’t scheduled for production until the week of 5/19, it had moved to production 5/14 when I checked Friday 5/16. Curious as to how current the updates are and how long it will be listed as in production and when will I get it and…. Just a 78 year old kid waiting for Christmas morning!

My ‘14 was going to be my forever truck but… Bad nurture I grew up in a Ford dealership and my example dad got a new car every three to four years. Mom was his brake or I’m sure he’d got one more often. My wife on the other hand is of no help, I have to resist on my own.

This is wild for me to stumble upon, makes me wonder what your delays were, because we're pretty similar.

Ordered: 05/09/25
Scheduled: 07/14/25
Built: 07/16/25
ETA: 07/28/25 - 08/03/25
