That’s funny you mention this. I noticed this weekend that I felt it at almost all speeds crawling through downtown. After sitting and driving again I reverted to the 38-48 only (strongest at 42) symptom
Exactly, I don’t love the vehicle because of it and it ruins the experience of having one built just for me and my spec. Dealer twice said it’s normal. It’s definitely not, and I’ll escalate to Ford and have a tech come out if I have to. One other “fix” I’ve seen on this forum is replacing the...
Got back from the dealer this morning. They didn’t feel the vibration at first, called me to reiterate, then felt it. Said it’s normal tire chatter for these ATs (but did say Goodyear Wranglers Territory ATs suck). They wouldn’t balance because Ford would say it’s normal. I didn’t really believe...
Thanks for the response, and I’m glad it’s held! Sorry you had to go through all of that, and I hope I don’t have a similar process with my dealer. Fingers crossed. Thanks again.
Hey there - did the fix last? I have a brand new truck (5.0, 3.73, short bed) with a vibrating pedal from 38-48mph. I can tell exactly when I’m going 42.

Just picked up my 2025 XLT 5.0 w/ 3.73s that I had built. 50 miles on the odometer now. Vibration/grinding through the gas pedal comes on around 38mph and fades around 48. It peaks at 42-43mph. In fact, I can tell exactly when I’m going 42mph. Really annoying since a lot of my roads are 40mph...
Wow, mine doesn’t say that. My window sticker matches the build sheet, and they list invoice - discounts. They provided a Dealer Order Receipt Acknowledgement document (DORA) and agreed to the maximums in writing. As long as you’re happy that’s all that matters!
How is that possible? With my dealer I signed the build spec that included invoice and all the discounts (including employee pricing) so I know the maximum I’ll pay (if another incentive comes through by delivery that’s lower I’ll get that instead). There’s no way they can’t give final numbers...
That’s great! Mine is still stuck in production somewhere. Out of curiosity, which plant was it? I think it’s the 11th digit - F for Dearborn, K for KC? Mine is Dearborn.
