Thanks but this is another reason why I decided NOT to go with the FP Whipple because it’s outdated. And when I did my research and called Ford to see if/when they were going to update the FP700 package or just the FP Whipple itself with the new latest Gen 6x technology, they said that they did not know if in fact they would replace/update it at all. So if I’m going to be stuck with a “Limited Warranty” if the Whipple causes engine failure. I might as well go with the updated technology and limited warranty from Whipple themselves. I appreciate your responses throughout all of this but there’s no way Ford is a multi billion dollar company and can’t catch necessary updates like this and continues to sell an outdated “Ford Performance” product with their name on it. It’s not hard to get with Whipple and update these Gen 5x Stg 1 units. Especially when Ford is charging the exact same price as the Gen 6x Stg 1 Whipple units. The least they can do is give the customer the Gen 6x Stg 1 unit.Yes that’s when they went through with an automated program to replace “5” with “6” and some “5x” product pages did what they asked verbatim hence the error in “6x”….but when I get back from holiday I’ll be sure to make sure that the 10 month old product hasn’t been phased out already…
